D.R.A.G. the stuff!

Made a cup of tea and stuck now. But who cares, tea taste good and music is very relaxing.

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 7:13 AM

Frog hint, used on birds, gives missing pointer.

This was posted a little while ago in Chat box........so have started. Have a few items, but have not solved anything. Im waiting for the brainy bunch to appear....because *singing*...its the story of a lovely game.....which was bringing in a heap of lovely hints...all of them had brains of gold...

alphaomega...where did you find the pointer...i made the birds the number...but cant see anything different.

ah, after getting the birds to make 23, look at bottom rightside.

dutchie, bottom right side of where? I still cant find the pointer. Thanks.

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 7:20 AM

Pointer bottom right in bird pedestal.

What's with the birds? I can click only 2 of them. A little square opens on left side revealling a number (8) on a button. When I click it, it changes to 0. Don't understand.

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 7:22 AM

Left bird - each double click (panel open) adds 8, right bird click substracts 5.

Thanks Dutchie and alphaomega, have the pointer

Roberto, if you click the right bird..and then the left bird again..you can see the number changes. I never worked out the pattern, but eventually got the number on the frog.

По клювам птиц выставила стрелки на листьях. Как не запомнила. Прошла игру)

After a lot of tries I got the pointer.

Thanks clio.

I don't get what I'm doing wrong with the birds. i can get it to 23 easy but never get the pointer

After you get 23, click on the shiny part of the base on the right side

Once you reach 23 on the birds notice an opening under the RIGHT bird and find the pointer in there

Alice...on the black stand which the birds are on.....you will see a shiny bit on the right. I had to reset and try a few times to get the pointer. I think if you back out of the scene you have to reset the birds.

now that I have the pointer, where is clue for how to position them all?

My kettle keeps pouring water on floor. Do I need a bowl or a cup?

Evans, clue is behind painting, but don't know how to use it yet.

Have you used the strainer yet? Where?

drats....have to leave. Good luck everyone. Leave loads of hints please. I think im going to need them.

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 7:34 AM

Tea pot in CB under birds, opens with key from white vase in corner.

@Roberto YES you need a pot to hold the water.
find a key to open the CB under the birds

filled glass pot with water, put charcoal, cloth under kettle, added basket and put tea in that but stuck now.
I see 2 yellow and 2 red dragon hints but can't figure order for box under cupboard in board and I have no strainer. Where is that?

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 7:36 AM

Strainer in right drawer below pointer leaves.

Thanks. I didn't realize I could click that white vase. It's so hidden behind arrow direction.

Clue for red/yellow puzzle is on top of large cabinet

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 7:36 AM

Hint combo for box from lamps, also look on top of shelf.

Don't know how to make tea.

Don't understand how red/white half circles relates to yellow/red dragons. Could someone help me?

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 7:42 AM

Stop water at barrels (look in plant for knob), take basket.

the shapes are not the clue for the box..the colors are and placement. have you zoomed into the lanterns yet?

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 7:43 AM

Direction of round side of half circles means left or right lamp.

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 7:44 AM

Arrow left side on tea table marks spot, where to find hidden charcoal.

Has anyone been able to pour the tea?

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 7:48 AM

Put charcoal to the glowing one, add lime from plant right of bird CB, put basket, put tea from jar on tea table.

What yellow/red puzzle you're talking about?

Look at the very top of the shelves for lantern color clue

>Roberto
The box under the bird cabinet.

So you mean white/red, not yellow/red?

What to do with ready tea now?

For some reason, I cannot get the pointer. I have set the number to 23 many times, but nothing happens on the right side of the base

Lanterns look yellow in my game. they use white for hint.

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 7:59 AM

Has anyone a hint for the directions of the five pointers? I see the five stars, but have no idea how to combine (if the stars are the clue for the pointers...)...

can't pour tea or figure out hint for arrow on flowers

sorry meant stars not flowers

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 8:00 AM

miles1: it is the plate the four birds are standing on (click on the right side in front)...

For flowers, they have to point to each other. Start with big one on right pointing down to smaller one, that one has to point at the middle one. Last is smallest flower

miles1.- It took me some tries to make it work.

@ Prakta - that's where I'm clicking. My number is 23, but no shiny spot appears on the black base. I've clicked everywhere on it!

Took baked tea back, put blue cup on the table, put tea leaves in, poured water, close the lid, open it and the tea is made but don't know hoq to pour it into cups...

Roberto, how many times did you have to try. I've tried at least six times

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 8:05 AM

You should not move the birds after making the 23. --> Make 23, look on it, zoom one out and then one in on the right front side....

Roberto - the right side bird (front one) is pointing with it's beak at the spot you need to click

ugh - FINALLY got it. Thx Roberto and Prakta. I guess I had to post here before it would work!

i cant use the key on the cb under the birds why?

Thank you Dutchie! out now.

Can't remember if I got something from that little green pot in the bush?

Thanks, Dutchie. Don't understand why, but that worked
(other butterfly is on the orchard)

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 8:08 AM

Butterflies from red orchid & from pointers on left CB side gives jar, put on table, filter, pour tea.

The little green pot stopped the water to let you get basket

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 8:08 AM

Little green pot in bush stops water.

same problem as miles, no shiny bit even with magnifyer, a screenshot might help us see what we should be seeing, thanks x

Finally out, thanks for all the hints :)

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 8:11 AM

dutchie, the big one is in the middle, not on the right. I still don´t get it...

Thanks about green pot. Where the clue for pointers came from?

Start with the largest flower of the two on the right

Can someone tell me why i cant use the key on the cb under the birds?

Did you drag the key to cupboard?

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 8:18 AM

Feeling totally dumb... Can you please spoil the directions (like: smallest flower = 1 and then e.g. north, south/west)...

I'm looking for the second butterfly.

I combined the star clue with the birds... That worked for me...

I don't know exact directions but start with the two flowers on the right. Top flower pointing down to the smaller flower. That flower points to the left to the largest flower in the middle, that one points to the flower on the left side and that one points to the smallest flower. Turn pointer from smallest flower to upper left I think. I hope this make sense,

I also feel totally dumb! After seeing the 23, I go back and...nothing. The direction of the right bird's beak is 4 oclock, not 6 oclock, it seems to have gone back up to 4 when I back up. I simply don't get it.

My flowers (pointers) doesn't work! No explains where did the clue came from?

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 8:34 AM

dutchie: Ttttthhhhhhaaaannnkkk you very much for your patience!!! Got it... (finally)

Still don't understand the clue for flowers. Was just trying something. Clue is behind painting.

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 8:38 AM

That worked for me:
Bird click SPOILER

3x table opens by left bird, 1x right bird
2x table opens by left bird, 1x right bird
1x table opens by left bird, 7x right bird

This comment has been removed by the author.

From number zero and the birds in original position, click the left bird 11 times to make the number 48, then click the right bird 9 times. Th should make the number 23 and the both birds pointing down.

>>dutchie
The color of the coasters corresponds to the flower colors, I think...

@ hineraukatauri : Set the number to 0. Click the left bird 11 times. Click the right bird 13 times. Click bottom right of black stand.

me color plates do not work at CB, so I could finish the game

It would really help if someone could spoil the positions of the pointers on the flowers using clock numbers, referring to the flowers from numbers 1 through to 5 (small to large). Sorry, but feeling very dumb today ..................... ned all the help i can get :)

Maybe compass positions would be better than clock numbers?

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 8:48 AM

SPOILER

Flower directions (1 = smallest flower, then compass (e. g. W = west))

1 SW
2 W
3 NE
4 S
5 W

@prakta What a star you are! Thank you - got it now

Doesn't work for me. Bug.

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 8:57 AM

It is the hint with the stars: The smallest star (1) shows south/west to the next bigger star (2). This star is the flower on the right down side and this flower shows west to the star number 3....

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 9:01 AM

:)) @SueInSpain.

But, without dutchie (thank you again, dutchie) I would still desperately try to move the pointers to the right directions ;)

I feel all the cups with tee, now what. Didnt got any tip for stars puzzle

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 9:03 AM

Look at saucers changed colours (hard to see).

Guess what? Reloaded the game now pointers have worked...

Dam thnx guys

Thanks I will try again x

Finally got it!! Thank you all xxx

Tea made, mug on table but can't serve the tea. What am I doing wrong?

Not my favorite Flash512. I had to set the birds to 23 over and over until the spot on the base finally opened up.

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 9:52 AM

Tea has to be filtered first (see comment at 8:08 AM).

could someone please post a screen shot of exactly where the pointer is? I have it at 23 but I can't find it anywhere. I really am not getting your clues. thanks

Where is the filter? I'm stuck at the same place.

oh and I am glad I am not the only one having difficulty finding it.... was getting worried that i am getting too old for these games!

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 10:05 AM

Filter = strainer, see comment at 7:36 AM.

giving up! Restarted twice. Pointers doesn't work.

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 10:08 AM

Find pointer (see different more shining black colour):

Thanks alphaomega. Thought I read everything and clicked on that drawer.

Thank you alphaomega....

okay got the 23..... looked for the spot to click on (thanks again alphaomega) but nothing there. sigh.
will try one more time and if it doesn't show will have to quit...
glad it is not me!

oh well not getting that little spot to click on to get the pointer.
will come back later to see if it finally works..... sigh again

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 10:23 AM

Is there an explanation for the pointers ? Where is the hint ? I have some ready tea in a blue cup with a lid, now what ? And is there a hint for the stars ?... I hoped that serving the tea in the cups would give the colours of the stars, but there is no way to serve tea, with or without the strainer...

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 10:27 AM

The game is buggy : sometimes the tea is ready (in the blue pot), sometimes it is not. Even when it's ready, I can't serve it in the cups.

Just for those interested!!

Here's a mathematical "solution" for the stork (?) number puzzle...
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
(well I think those are storks...)
First stork will add +8, whilst the second stork will subtract -5.

So we need to solve the equation

8x - 5y = 23

where x,y must be positive integers.

So let's resolve to x...

x = (23 + 5y) / 8

and just try out y that match the equation AND that do not leave any decimals behind.

y = 1 no
y = 2 no
y = 3 no
y = 4 no
y = 5 .... YES

(23 + 5 * 5) / 8 = 48 / 8 = 6

So x = 6.
And so we have to move stork #1 6 times, whilst stork #2 has to be moved 5 times.

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 10:31 AM

Someone said to use the filter to serve the tea, but how ? It simply doesn't work !!!

pdgph - You brew the tea in one pot and then decant it (with the strainer) into the pot you get from the butterfly cupboards.

Place the pot from the butterfly cupboard on the saucer, put the strainer on it and then pour the brewed tea from the blue pot.

BTW, big thanks to dutchie for your excellent explanation for the water lilies! I really needed it.

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 11:04 AM

@ RSA Momma Cyndi,

Thank you... I'm quite lost, anyway : the tea is ready, it's in the blue pot and that's all : I can't do anything else, with or without the filter. The filter can't be used on the brewed tea. I can only pick up the blue pot with tea and put it back...

pdgph - have you got the pot out of the butterfly cupboard?

For those of you having trouble getting the pointer:

The birds can be clicked both up and down. Clicking it up does nothing, clicking it down adds 8 (left bird) and subtracts 5 (right bird). The trick is to leave the birds in the down position once you have reached the requisite number of clicks. If you do this, when you make your last down click the little square panel on the pedestal will open (it will appear as a very slightly brighter square) where the right bird's beak is pointing. Just click slowly and watch for the change in shading. If you click the bird back up the panel will shut again, and you will have to clear the number to zero and start again.

Hope this helps.

Two stupid puzzles in this game, and the only reason I didn't X out if it is because that music was just so relaxing and pleasant.

Saucer colours, after pouring filtered tea from jar found in butterfly CB:

SPOILER
(left to right = stars on shelf door bottom to top):
green, purple, blue, orange, white, grey, sandy

Unfortunately, amount of clicks can't be indicated, it changes each time, when you zoom out for restarting...

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 12:01 PM

@ RSA Momma Cyndi,

Thank you again for your help. I have a butterfly, and the tea is in a blue pot with a lid.

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 12:07 PM

Red butterfly for right CB side from orchid, other one from solving pointer puzzle (pic link spoiler see comment at 10:14 AM).

Thanks for all the helpful hints here, but this game is too fiddly and confusing to be any fun at all! And as for trying to decipher the colours of the saucers - well done alphaomega - you're a hero (or heroine) for that, but I can't be bothered to squint at the wishy washy colours on the cupboard. Very frustrating game.

       Anonymous  8/23/14, 1:08 PM

@alphaomega,

Thank you... but is there any kind of hint for the position of the pointers ?

@Clodagh,

I totally agree with you.

There is a video walkthrough available just google the name of the game. I needed it for making the tea.

Tea leaves look like Mary J. Wanna...

this one was pretty tricky.
glad i came back and read more of the hints above.
also thanks for all the screen shots...... just wouldn't have made it through this time without them!

Normally like these games, but that was annoying

Well, had it been a Robamimi game, he would at least given us a button to show color names! :) Though actually meant for color-blind people; even for the non-color-blind this would have been a blessing with these "stony" colors!

Don't forget to back up and go right once the door is open. Then open the bird cabinet and click the box. Then click the third dragon from the left till it opens again and take the jade ring for the perfect end.

Bee-U-Tee-Ful job, everybody on leaving hints! They were well needed! Thank you alphaomega for your screen shot of the colors!

Just sayin' I quit this game because I could not get the pointer under the birds. I got to 23 at least 5 times and no shiny point (I saw the link of where it is). VERY FRUSTRATING from a game maker that I usually like a lot! Too bad.
