I'm stuck. Am I missing a room somewhere? Have found 3 rooms.
Found 4th room. Use longer key on upstairs door.
Smarties one of the keys opens the door upstairs to even more stuff!
3 shapes to find.
2 circles & 1 triangle.
The clue to the fourth triangle was staring me in the face!
Need a clue for petals in 4th room. That should give me last circle.
I'm in exactly the same situation Smarties!
Question: for some reason several games, including this one, do not load anymore in Opera.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Solid circle numbers are for the toy on sofa. Other circle numbers are for the guitar.
It's fine in IE.
Also need a key for door of upstairs wardrobe. (4th room)
Sorry Smarties I meant I was in the same situation as you with 3 circles and 4 on the others.
I know where they go but am 1 short.
That's where it has to be!
I just bruteforced the petals: on off on off on off on off.
I've got a problem with the grids 1234. I think I know (according to rooms with numbers 1 2 3 4) what should happen to the grids, but I clicked them in the order that they're numbered. Nothing happened. What am I doing wrong?
Oh - Austen64 - I just clicked alternate petals and it gave me the last circle!
You bloody marvel!
and I don't know what word should be put in at the green splash and I'm missing the long key for the cupboard upstairs.
Look at the letters available and the shape that they are on.
It's not quite a splash, more of a s____.
Look at the letters available and anagram them.
Now, how do I place these shapes in the squares???
We think the cupboard key comes from placing the 16 pieces.
I bet Smarties gets the order before I do!
I am missing one star and I still got the axe after using it on the crate.
There are 4 1 to 4 codes in the house but the sides on the shapes are 1, 3, 4 & 5.
ok, got the s word
Must be something to do with the 1-4 grids in each room but not worked it out yet.
lol - I bet I don't!
Anyone that know where to use the axe, besides from the crate? :)
I can't figure out the 4 numbers for the upper of the three drawers anyone
..?
No - I think it might just stay there, like the book and the toy phone.
Nowhere K.
K - answer on a lantern
Numbers come from one of the lanterns downstairs.
SP57OIL42ER.
Thanks Smarties :)
Maybe we should find the cupboard key first? There are too many possible combinations for the 16 pieces/4 grids.
OK.
Perhaps we do have to attack something with the axe!
Did resort to attacking things with axe (!) but then, disappointingly, looked at walkthrough. I now have the answer but I still don't understand why it is the answer...
Where to start for pinwheel colors?
Still trying.
If I ever do work it out............
.............................I'll be old!
Oh I think I just realized - go by the angles
Petals don't need to be bruteforced, the flower "blinks assent" when a petal is correctly turned on or off.
Cool - I'm playing on Opera, no problems here. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling, that often fixes flash issues.
Never did need key for that 2nd cupboard door. Out now. Was a great and varied game until that last bit. Shan't rate game in case it was me being stupid but I just don't get how the shapes related to the numbers.
Do use the grids in the order of the rooms though.
Thanks for the company!
See you soon Smarties.
just1, pinwheel is the combo of flowers in the opposite view. Put all 3 together
thx Vickie, got it.. have everything now but a clue for those 4 grids and a key for the last cabinet
nothing works as a clue for how to assign the shapes, so I think maybe the missing key is a bug
Just1.
There is no key for the last cabinet and no logic that I can find for the placement of the shapes.
Eventually I looked at the WT and while it does indicate that the 4 grids are used in the order in which you encounter them (unless you go upstairs first!) there is no reason that I can discern for why each shape represents each number.
I can spoil the answer for you if you wish.
Please post whether you would like me to do so.
Hi, Austen - yeah, why not? I'll tinker with it later today :)
Grid order is:
2 1 4 2 3 4 1 3
3 4 1 3 2 1 2 4
1 = star
2 = circle
3 = square
4 = triangle
If you figure out the relationship PLEASE let me know.
My brain is fried!
I think yellow shapes relate to drawer shapes?
star=1 (1st position)
circle=2 (2nd position)
triangle=3 (3rd position)
square=4 (by deduction)
hmmm! nop!
triangle=4 and square=3. So my theory makes no sense!
Better yet, game makes no sense.
Clearly, I have missed the obvious, but can anyone tell me where is the clue for the 4 animals that go on the stairs?
POP...yes, I missed the book and it gives the phone number
@ Cool, a little late, but I use Opera and have no problems opening these games. Maybe you need to update/upgrade your version ? Cheers :)
