Yay, a live one! Hope someone comes to help which surely will be needed.
Got a remote without batteries, a flashlight, and some ice. Got also a bottle of water which I have poured into the electric kettle but I can't open the kettle again. There's something underneath the chair at the right side behind the sliding doors.
Now things are getting tough.
Going in,,
Got a bowl and tweezers from the chair (had to turn on the flashlight). Still can't melt the ice.
With the tweezers I got a battery and was happy for three seconds - until I saw that I need another one. Man!
Hi Jecko, didn't see you're in.
hello meritneith, battery above the color puzzle
Got the second battery! :-)
Thanks, seems I felt your help before I read it. ;-)
wheres the flashlight?
The flashlight comes from the 3-number box underneath the TV. Hint is above the sliding doors.
thank you!
I have a clue from the TV and can now change the time on the box at the left side behind the sliding doors. But I don't understand the clue by now.
stuck at the time clue
Time clue: the missing segment
I'm so stuck, I can't make out the TV clue for the clock. And I still have water in the kettle I can't get out. I would have put the ice into the bowl and melt it with hot water but no chance. Further, I know I have to put something (water, a ball?) into that green device in the safe to get something out but no success.
and out thank you tautau
use the bowl on kettle to get hot water
after dissolving ice put ball into bamboo and get another ball
Thank you so much, tautau, plain to see when you know the solution! I have been staring at the clue for ages.
Oh no! I have tried to put the bowl in front of the kettle for a thousand times but never selected it and clicked on the top. Thanks, now waiting for the ice to melt.
Any other hints on the TV? I can see the similarities between the 1st and 3rd numbers, and the 2nd and 4th, but I can't figure out how to put them together. I'm missing the missing segment. :)
Deb, look at the clock on the TV. The hint means that you have to avoid the green lines and take the black lines.
I have ice in bowl with hot water but my ice won't melt?
I'm still waiting for the ice to melt. I must be missing something.
Deb, ignore the green lines, what is left?
Ohhhhhhhhh I get it... I have to imagine lines where there is no green. Thanks!!!
Where is the bowl? i cannot find it.
I've put the block in the bowl of water but it's not melting. What do I do?
same here...
everybody left?
Don't know why, suddenly the ice melt... POP maybe.
Ice won't melt.
Chris, the bowl is in a drawer underneath the TV.
After the length of time it took for that ice to melt, we deserve a Japanese feast for that! :)
um still got ice here been waiting an hour lol
But it's even more important to get the ice to melt! Am I missing something?
Just melted!
I am waiting now for about half an hour, and I have run around in circles many times. Either there is a bug or we have to do something else which we haven't found out.
Silly question: what is the hammer for? Not that I have tried it a thousand times on that damn ice.
meritneith lol I'm wondering the same thing!
meritneith, I highlighted the hammer and then tried hammering the exit door a few times. Then I noticed my ice had melted. I don't know if that was just coincidence or not.
But the hammer is used on the ball you get from the green bamboo device.
There's something strange going on. Jecko and I were in at about the same time but he´s out since 50 minutes.
Thanks Peggy but I have smashed every pixel with that hammer and my ice is still hard as stone. I think I'll try a second game in a new window.
No idea if it's waiting or doing things. But, after using the bowl with ice on the kettle 'a lot of times', I went to all the hotspots in the game again and suddenly the ice was melted.
cant get the 3 code numbers :(
PeteBarbu, look above the sliding doors. Count the groups of lines for the numbers.
i did but 748 doesnt work...
oh,got it now :D
I have two games with unmelted ice now. Can't be time which makes it, and I think I have tried anything. I'm clueless.
Still waiting for my ice to melt ugh
I had the same problem with unmelting ice. I had my remote with the batteries in but the lid out and "upside down". I put the lid back on and turned the remote in the about item view and my ice melted. Don't know if that's a coincidence or not.
I am now waiting for 84 minutes. I think I'll leave the window open and hope someone find out the secret later. And I was the first here!
Unknown, coincidence. My remote is in good shape and can't be turned around. Ice, ice, baby.
Clicked exactly 9.631 times and my ice melted.... Maybe less clicks needed... Fortunately I have a ball now!
I just played again a few times. Try going around the room counter-clockwise... or use the left arrows. It worked twice for me.
Ice in hot water - ONE click left -> voilá, ice melted :o))
Where's the water bottle?
SarahB, the water bottle is in the 3# box under the TV.
Peggy, you are my hero! I always go to the right (clockwise), that's maybe a spleen. Thank you and all others who tried to help. Of course out now.
Normally I really do like the Neat Escape games, and this one could have been a very good one too, but needing a certain direction is crap.
Peggy, huh? I thought that's where I got the flashlights from?!? Or do I have to enter a second number?
My bad. Sorry, Sarah.
You're right. The water bottle comes from the 3 color box. Behine the sliding doors and to the right.
@ Peggy THANK YOU
@ Handy YOU'RE WELCOME
748 not working :( Why? What's the 3 number code?
Don't count the white squares/pics, but the brown frame parts between them, so it's 6 3 7
I cant find the bowl looked under chair behind the sliding door on the right just the tweezer
Bowl is in bottom drawer, left below the tv.
Cant open the safe thing. the one with the 2 handles. Am I missing something? And someone mentioned bamboo device?
small tool thank you I would not have find it its so dark. Now im stuck on the clock cant see the black lines Is it 6000
Sherry, pretend the green lines are black and make the "hidden" ones green. think the first one is 1
Going for lunch. will try continue when I get back
Missing lines on the clock make 1549
On the 2 handles device it shows you what to do.
First button hass arrows pointing at the middle, so put the handles to the middle and then click that button. Then change handles according to second button, then click that one, etc.
small tool thank you , I was still not able to make it out thank you so much
finally out thanks to all for your help
Thanks ST. could have sworn I did that before.
Yay!!! Out
Thought that was a lot harder than most - thanks Peggy for "Go left" and tautau for time clock clue.
well it''s late and all but just to put in writing that my ice didn't melt.
@ Jon D - you have to go left to get the ice to melt (Thanks again Peggy)
cannot find clue for 3 color box
omg...pop.
Wow. Neatescape kind of dropped the ball on this one.
I think we can all agree the water/ice puzzle needs a lot of work. My gripes:
1. The hitbox on the lid is too small.
2. You can't fill the bowl with water until (I think) you've found a few other completely unrelated objects (the flashlight, maybe the tweezers?). I don't know if this is to simulate the water heating up or what, but simulating time passing where changing your view doesn't count is annoying.
3. Waiting for the ice to melt. Again, it seems a bit arbitrary as to what counts as "waiting." Other than for a game developer feeling clever that they've simulated waiting for paint to dr-- I mean, ice to melt, what's the point of frustrating the player?
I like this guy's games - but somehow I couldn't get this one going. I got through the "easy" part in a couple of minutes, then got stuck where most of the other players got stuck. From then it wasn't too much fun. somehow I couldn't enjoy this one :(
Fantastic game - 5 stars!!
It's a known fact that people give 3 stars if puzzles are too tricky. ;)
My hammer doesn't work on ball? Do I have to do something with the ball first?
The white ball or whatever you get from ice goes in the bamboo thing. Then you get another ball. In the second ball you use hammer.
The clock was impossible for me!!! Thanks the hint!!!
disgusting ending for vegetarian ... poor fishes
recently played the remake of escape from the hospital & decided to play this one, too
thx for all your creations, Neat ☺
a bit mean about the turning direction to melt ice IMHO - thx Peggy for the hint
& as a vegan & animallover (ALL animals!), I have to agree with Houston...! :-(
