Thanks,Jon

awesome game!

this is my first one of these...gotta get 'in the right train of thought" i suppose :D

Clue 1: think initial letters without the 'at'

got 1 but dunno 2..
tried the obvious but no go

AHA! TY!

Nini each line refers to a number.
Some of them are English slang.

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 12:16 PM

need to go,coming back later

hey austen!

Just realized that Austen.. (LOL.. some very specific words there!)

Hi Jessica.
You figured out Q3 yet?

down12, up 13, down12, up.... why is that strange mantra going round in my head?

One of them can have four meanings Nini!

sadly...still on 2...not thinking clearly...got the 'meaning'...just off my game i suppose :/

nope - my idea for no 2 was incorrect. can anyone give a hint?

unless i have my slang wrong

just found this "money slang" website hahaha

Line 5 is rhyming slang.

Line 8 is old British money.

lol...the phosphorous has me stumped...and my other letters don't make anything legible

Line 6 think chemistry.

yep - got those nini and austen - ty anyway :)

@jessicac. Phosphorous could be either 15 (atomic number) or 32 (atomic mass)

probably atomic number jess...
about line 8.. hmm 240 ? (can't be!)

my numbers so far are: 20-8-25-13-5-15-9-12 and ?

12 old pennies in a shilling, Nini

ok...must be having 'one of my days'...or overthinking...i got the #s from the slang lines...score =20=t; etc...so, these clues are making me twitch! :D

Nini there were 240 old pennies in a pound not a shilling.

hmm tried that but my anagram solver is not solving I guess xD

Yes I am that old!

Haha - yes I remember old money too, Austen :)

Zuleika you have it right just put a space in there.

WHEW! had 1 wrong...grrr :D

i will return the favors in another game! :D

Nini you need two words.

haha! Well.. I 'm pretty sure I have all the right letters.. but no go!

nini...you do b/c i had one wrong and used yours

I know Austin! Tried with both no space and space.. :S
Maybe I really got smth wrong

Just an't get the two words for the final answer - maddening, grr. Probably so obvious too

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 12:36 PM

L2
anoint parsley, sage, rosmary & ?

now jammed at #3...guess riddles are not my bag!

Word 1 (5 letters) is a herb.
Word 2 (3 letters) - the Saudis have LOADS of it!

homonym for the watch

Ty Austen - got it - but I'm still not sure of the sense of it!

ok zuleika...let's do #3!

Yay, a new Creo riddle! Thanks for posting Jon!

Got it.. but used Zuleika's numbs LOL

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 12:42 PM

Haha! I'm also stuck at Level 2. As a foreigner, no idea what to do. Kinda good to see the americans hang as well.

working my way through a menagerie of animals for no 3! maybe should try mythological beasts ...?

lol! i have run through a list as well!

Buecherverschlingen see Zuleika's post at 12:30 for the numbers.

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 12:46 PM

Ha, got it! Thanks, Zuleika!

gotta run for a while...figure them out for me!

Tried all animals in Haddocks' Eyes poem.. nadda!

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 12:52 PM

L3
each word of last line is missing first letter

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 12:54 PM

think countries

... I hate those "native only" levels..

For level 3, he replied with four words, something is missing from each one

mind escape, not room escape

Ok .. Im getting there 2/4!

GOT IT

What about lvl4??

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 1:01 PM

Level 4 reminds me of this song that's now stuck in my head.

There she was just a walking down the street, singing doo wa diddy ...

I knew the bassist from that band Buecherverschlingen!

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 1:03 PM

L4
seems to be morse, but can't figure it out yet...

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 1:05 PM

You ARE really old, Austen!

Right track, Alpha Omega

oh just noticed we have an extra hint xD

Think before AΩ.

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 1:10 PM

got L4!
names of twins at right side

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 1:11 PM

which lvl are you on, Austen?

L5 the playing cards AΩ.

best creature names ever ha!

I recognise most of them but one or two are not familiar to me Nini.

Hi! stuck in level 3 I am looking for a country of four letters?.
I understand that the last line of each word one letter missing, but everything is wrong

if u do some image search u should find what u're missing .
I still need to to find the last ones

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 1:26 PM

I still don't get Level 4. Can somebody give me a hint, please?

Hi pichi. No - each word in the last line is a country with first letter missing. Spell out animal name with missing letters

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 1:28 PM
This comment has been removed by the author.

Got them all.. now I guess pick letters!

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 1:30 PM

pichi, you search for an animal that's made out of the four letters that are missing in the last sentence.

Level 4, level 4,........dumdeedumdeedum

Buecherverschlingen AΩ posted a great hint at 1:03.
Four letter word meaning "before".

Well guys & girls it is now beer O'clock.
See you later.
Please leave a nice hint trail.

Anndd lvl 6!

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 1:36 PM

L4
think morse:
twin names (last parts) at right page, one paragraph each for one letter (4 in total)
(I'm lousy at hinting...)

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 1:36 PM

have to go, too - leave big hints ;-)
see you

Thanks Zuleika and Nini go it!

Not beer for me Austen - but guests instead! Back later...

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 1:45 PM

Thank you all, got it finally!

On lvl 6> 3 letters missing.. just out of ideas

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 1:51 PM

Need help on 5 Nina, I have all the creature names but they all start with consonants. I tried the amount of letters in each name but that doesn't seem to work either.

Nini, that sure was a nice list of creatures on the previous level, Hi, btw :)

C0fe:
Look at the number on the card and then refer to that letter in the name of the creature

lvl5, i got jlckarsl, but nothing!!

Sorry I was having dinner..
Zoran 2 letters wrong

Stuck in level 4 now. I do not understand in which names or words in the text to the right, get the morse

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 2:08 PM

You need to anagram level 5.

Zoran, your letters are wrong. There's an Alice in Wonderland-Wiki, look the names up there. Or use google image search.

c0fe7758-7e30-11e3-b451-000f20980440
U need to see the names + the numbers. Like Jabberwock is Ace so take the J

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 2:10 PM

pichi, one of the names is longer, and one is shorter. Morse that up.

pichi Dum and dee - long and short

C'mon guys! Get to lvl 6! need more brains on this one

For level 5 I have jackheel... are my letters wrong?

miles.. hee is wrong

and remember> the hatter is not just a hatter!

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 2:15 PM

Yeah, he is also batshit...

Yes Dum and Dee with this I have only two letters, and missing?

lol bue! Is the caterpillar not Absolem?

@pichi make a 4-letter word by taking the phrases their names appear (use long and short)

@miles.. yeah >_<

and the other guys isn't king of hearts?

@miles do some image search !

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 2:19 PM

pichi, in every sentence, there is dee or dum or both. So it's either . oder - or .- or -.

Convert every appearence to morse. It's 4 letters.

I am!!!! I don't know why I'm not getting it!

@miles for nº 7 -> duchess

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 2:21 PM

miles, it's not a guy. Look here:

http://aliceinwonderland.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Characters

It helps. Just brows through til you see the pictures on the cards and note the names.

The flower is a bit tricky, but it has the same name as one girl in Peter Pan that isn't Wendy.

lvl5 got it

Now help me on 6 @Zoran!

well nini- I'm at lvl6 but my brain's not helping

the missing letters could point to a calculation but I can't make it work. I've tried grouping the latters according to the number of times they appear:(

LOL @enzed!
I tried removing all letters from the alphabet and remained with 3.. (1 can be related to playing cards but not the other 2..)

oh my gosh - finally got it! Thanks guys

heh I had the "multiplying" idea too ..
and the numbers of times each letter appears has no pattern at all!

Thanks buecherves...

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 2:31 PM

I have four missing letters in level 6: bqxz

No idea what to do with them, though.

Or why the little guys on the left are wearing spades instead of hearts.

@buecherverschlingen B is below J

LOL...I really think that once upon a time I wasn't so dum
(maybe I was dee.)

But now I know it for a fact! I cannot get 3 even with your hints. I'm sure they're good hints, I just can't make my brain understand it.

I might come back later and see if my head is a bit more clear. :)

I have five missing letters, bmqxz. If you use the letters before each one (from the hint) you get alowy...... I'm pretty sure I'm on the wrong track!

oops - there are both b's and m's. This game is frying my brain

buecherverschlingen B is top right corner and the image is correct for the book with the spades
http://aliceinwonderland.wikia.com/wiki/File:The-Playing-Cards-Painting-The-Rose-Bush,-Illustration-From-Alice-In-Wonderland-By-Lewis-Carroll-1832-9.jpg

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 2:41 PM

Ooops. Thanks, Nini.

NotYou, in the sentence the Knight says there are missing the first letter on every word. Think of countries. THey do spell an animal.

So the only letters not shown are QXZ right?

right miles

"Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth". XQZ????

Zoran I've tried all permutations with and without spaces. no go >_<

zxq is the code for solstad airport

Ok, I know this is probably nothing, but has anyone noticed that every line is symmetrical at the top with the same number of letters on both sides, except for the Y's? On the opposite side there are 4 I's, but only 3 I's. I don't know if it means anything

I''ve tried lvl6-lvl5, but nothing

gtg guys! good luck :D

buecherverschlingen, thanks.

But I meant 4 is where I"m stuck, the morse code one. Gee, I can't even tell you what puzzle I'm on that shows you how really dumb I am!

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 3:04 PM

Oh my. Okay. Dee is long and Dum is short. So if in one sentence it says "Dee is longer than Dum" it is -. and therefore an n. You need four letters.

Levl 5 is anagram? I can not find all the cards

omg I finally got it!

I can't get level 4 either...tried multiple combos of Dee/dee and Dum/dum...cuz not sure if it is case sensitive...or spacing...not to mention i can't track the answer from the hints...dum...dum...dum

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 3:12 PM

Yes, Level 5 is an anagram, pichi.

not you...help with level 4 then... please...pretty please...you can delete right after :D

OMG! I BF'd Lvl 6, but I think I figured out the logic.

Three letters are missing - one is related to a card.
What (in Wonderland terms) is the card previous to that?

This comment has been removed by the author.

please...fall down the rabbit hole...back to level 4 :D

lol @ jessicac! I know how you feel!

When I finally figured it out I still wasn't sure I knew what I was doing. :)

Well I have jackmqcm, nothing...

Lvl 7 - pretty easy if you are familiar with classic British rock.
Now working on Lvl 8

This comment has been removed by the author.

do i use dee/dum...e/m... "." / "--" aargh!

I <3 you! not you!!!!!!

BIG HUGZ!!!! :)

@ Pichi
mqcm is wrong

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 3:19 PM

OMG, thank you Noelle!

Yes Noelle, but I can not find any page with the remaining cards

noelle, pls HELP on lvl6

lvl6, got it

@ Zoran: BRAVO! =)

i have fallen down the rabbit hole...feeling "deedum-ber" at every level! really looking forward to the british rock one...if i can make it!

on lvl8

do you start with hookah? or just caterpillar?

AH! Figured out Lvl 8.

You may get stuck if you aren't old enough to remember 45's.

At a complete loss on lvl 9

aargh! gotta run again...leave good hints for the last 4 for level 5 and on! :D

lvl9

Noelle, you are not alone. Stuck on lvl9

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 3:46 PM

Jessicac, you will like Level 8. I'm starring at a british rock icon for ages now, trying to find his secrets.

L.5 I can not get all the cards, I have too many consonants, can someone help me?

Pichi - only 2 consonants and they are both "a"

@ Zoran: Start with the second WHAT..?

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 4:00 PM

Okay, it's 1pm here, i go to bed now. Hope there are a lot of hints on the morrow!

but: jack, right? is names all creatures?

@ pichi - "Jack" is correct.

Thanks Noelle for the help on lvl 6 was never going to get that one.

@Smart - You are most welcome. I just got lucky, honestly.

Any luck with lvl 9 yet?

For level 9, think alphabet to start

Did someone figure out lvl 8? ╮(╯▽╰)╭ My Intellectual power seems to be "thin" too, at this level

Have no clue what letters to pick from what for Lvl 9

Thanks Donas - I think I've got the first half of 9...

Got 9. Was overthinking the second part.

well done smartasawhippet, hope you can help on 10, been stuck for a while

So far baffled on 10.

       Anonymous  11/7/14, 5:55 PM

I still need help on level 6, the missing letters are QXZ so if one of these letters represents a card, i guess Jack would be before Queen, but I don't know how this helps get the answer?

c0fe, for level six, look back at your list of creatures, then apply the hint with that list

Any luck on 10 yet?

Any help on 9? Can't guess the right letters

Nini, did you see Donas hint at 4:37?

Yup.. but the text is too confusing xD
