not sure what to do with color clues and numbers, I havecut down two packages and stuck
at the same place, mrtelcom. no ideas

ok, out now. Still not sure about the orange 1 etc was for.
I just figured it out. first letter of orange is o, etc...
well flags arenr clue for above fireplace...

Had a bit of a hold up finding one of the flag circles - it was amongst the books - bottom shelf I think.
Don't see how Orange Pink Yellow Green spells open lol but glad mrtelcom spoiled it. If I remember right the lit candle gives clue for 9 squares on wall.
In the scene with the packages. next to the place where you put in 'open' there's on the left: Orange 1, Pink 1, Yellow 2 and Green 5. So the first letters of Orange and Pink, the second of yEllow and the 5th of greeN.
And because every game deserves etc etc etc,
here a one-thing-leads-to-another-through.
But ... you have to zoom in on every clue, every paper before they work.
starting scene: behind panel up left a hammer.
notice the words on the signs on the right.
go right and hammer the stone for a knife.
use knife to cut the two packages hanging in the tree.
zoom in on the tree on the right, click 1st, 1st, 2nd, 5th letter of the according words for a key
use key in the same scene for santa and scale
about item the scale, place the packages, read the number.
use number in the starting scene up right for santa and clue paper.
go right and use the clue on the puzzle between the trees (dots 2535) for santa.
place the three santa's in the starting scene down left for key.
unlock the door, enter.
Continuing ...
inside: take flag-circle
go right. zoom in on top shelf of bookcase, click trophy, take flag-circle
zoom in on lowest shelf, move two books for a flag-circle
open the sidetable for a telephone horn
go left and place the horn on the telephone for a flag-circle.
go right and place the circles in the holes for a watering can.
use the water to put out the fire, take key and wheel
use key to open the other sidetable for a box.
count the books on the middle shelf and open the box for matches
about item and light a match; take the candle next to the fireplace, about item and light it for a name.
use this name above the fireplace for wheel and paper clue
use paper clue on the grid in the same scene, get clue.
go outside, turn left. use the clue on the box on the left, for a wheel
back into the house, turn right, place the wheels on the wall for a key.
go outside, turn left and use the key on the box on the right, get watering can
go to starting scene and pour water on the lamp .... and there he is ... take the key ... open the door and go ... in.
