go this one only cos I first LOL
and stuck! Used shovel twice, dug hole in far left and filled bucket with water. hung up lots of stars etc. No idea what bucket of water is for. or where to use colours from fence. Need shape hint for far right trees too
In same place as you evans. Plus I've hung a lot of star decorations in the 2 rooms of the house. Got shears and cut baubles on tree outside house for some more hanging decorations
finally got stars hung in boy scene
If you click on all trees in colour code scene - i.e.light them up - you get another decoration.
pour bucket om all trees far left
In the far left scene where you fill the bucket, water the trees and click the birds for snowmen clue.
Just need shapes for stars in lamppost scene
Pour water on 4 trees left most scene then click on crow that appears to get a 4 digit code.

Where is the second place to use the shovel?
Hung up all decorations according to book, opened all the puzzles and still here. Have not used colour code from fence poles. ????
under tree at end of fence by grey house is second place to shovel.

evans - colour code was for order of stars in boys room
color code on fence is order for stars in living room and on house by mailbox is for bedroom.

fence post color code I thought was the inside code 1st room for the 4 colored stars
small-tool: the 2 places to dig are (1) in the far left scene and (2) at the base of the tree in colour code scene

I seem to have done everything but - no exit or exit key. Oh - I still have a multi-coloured star that won't hang anywhere. Where does it go?

That multi coloured star goes outside on the house.
The smaller ornaments are at tree outside door. multicolor star goes on front of house

I need a blue star for the boys bedroom...the only hot spot is the little tree in front of the bench where lamppost is, but doesn't seem like there's anything to do there...thanks!

For stars in tree with bare branches...go to the boy's bedroom and click at the bottom of the open door.
