Going in to see the friendly ghost

Thanks for the games Angelika. Look forward to them every week.

I tried the numbers from books on he wall, the direct sequence nor the position.
I don't see clue for cat pic nor L/R nor letters.

I'm stuck there too magda

I figured out the puzzle for the directions but I'm like Magda - can't find other clues - there's a color puzzle on a jar in the corner - can't find colors either.

what is the fly trying to tell us ?

The fly is telling you a hint for the box on the table in the first scene kevaus

Apparently the books are used for L/R buttons. I don't understand how.

ah ok thanks Alan !!

Glad to help!

If that's the case Magda, I'm clueless

Bored. I'll come later for an explanation.

some books are pink some are white

3 still to find for me - not solved the number 1-6, or 1-8 or the 4 letter word.
Solved the easy number from in the cupboard but can't use it anywhere

oh- still got the cat to do too!

enzed, I am hopeless what is the number in the cupboard? then I can be stuck with you

number from cb is used on 8 dig panel

first line 5 x 4 = 20
etc

Thanks enzed

placing benders head gives colour hint and propeller give cat pic hint

thanks Kev- its a 4 digit one you need not a 2!

ok- I'm out- that was a pretty tough one, especially the books with my eyes!

Sorry a bit too hard for me, I'll have to come back when there's more clues.

clue for 6 dig panel is from 4 letter puzzle

Thanks Angelika- excellent as always

and out too, thanks for the help every one !

Iris Картер, Alan Booth, enzed, kevaus and all - thank you very much!
this time harder the game and not everyone will like it...

I don't understand books hint :(

the directions arrows are diferent colors and books are too

Amarantomar: the pages of the books are pink and white, and the left and right arrows are pink and white (pink left and white right)

Some are white and some are not
some are right and some are left

or is it
some are left and some are right

I'm not getting the 6 digit panel clue.

Lsq

the numbers in the clue are arranged in 6 columns to match the 6 buttons. Start with the button corresponding to number 1

Angelika, there are too many easy games on here. Don't let anyone talk you into dumbing them down.

Great game, thx Angelika :)

I'm not understanding the clue for the word puzzle. Anyone still here?

Andrea, remove any letters in the word casper you should find a heavenly answer

Ah, thanks enzed!

is anyone still here? I dont know the clue for the 9 sq box that come up with a centre white spot when clicked on? have I missed something? help please??

i have a gold "coin" and a casper on the table i can't get also

i finally got the right code for the box on bookcase

Fantastic - I agree that there are too many easy games. Please keep the puzzles tricky - great job

Arrived very late on this one.
Thanks Angelika that was the most challenging ghost hunt yet.

thanks for game Angelika :)

I don't get directions puzzle (hint behind little pics)
I click probably in wrong order
help please

Your best game so far, Angelika, kudos :)
And I agree with the former posters; Please keep them this difficult. There are way too many games that are just dumb clicking and this is a game where you really have to think about the clues.

Seb, if you are talking about the hint with S, NW etc. Use it on the pink panel (with with circles), above table and two chairs.
But don't forget South is not down, but where the S is.

Oh thanks Small tool , I click on a wrong button
got it now

Amarantomar, Fudge , Austen64 , seb, small-tool , thank you very much!

this is my cat in the picture))

What are the roman numerals on the blue books for ? - In the video wt it looks like it's for the 2 green arrows, but the wt goes too fast and I don't get how you'd relate - 2,4,6,8,1,5,3,7 to L R buttons ???

The roman numerals are for the left and right buttons, but don't use the book (pages) colours as you see them from left to right, but use them in the number order of the books.

Walkthrough (hints not spoilers):

Start scene:
Zoom on couch and lift left cushion – Casper 1.
Look on back of photo frame left side for directions hint.
Go left.

Use directions hint on pink wall panel (compass has been rotated) to reveal fly.
Click fly and note where it goes.
Go right.

Click on table in front of couch and move the black squares to the positions indicated by the fly for Casper 2 and squares hint.
Go right.

Zoom in on top right shelf and light the four boxes shown on the table clue for towel and Casper 3.
Casper 4 is in one of the vases on the top middle shelf.
Go right.

Catch flying Casper 5.
Zoom in on bottom right shelf and note number order and the colours (white/pink) above them.
Go left.

Use book/colour code on left/right buttons (pink = left) on cupboard door for Casper 6, Bender’s head and number puzzle.
Go right and up.

Give Bender his head back for colour clue.
Go back and right.

Use towel on centre table for Casper 7.
Click front of table to look under it for Casper 8.
Zoom right corner and lift middle grey vase for Casper 9.
Use Bender’s colour hint on hexagonal pink box for Casper 10.
Go right.

Use number hint on wall panel for propeller, word clue and Casper 11.
Use word clue on box on small table for Casper 12 and number hint.
Turn round and go up.

Use number hint on 6 button panel on bed for Casper 13 and coin.
Place propeller on wall for number hint.
Go back and left.

Use number hint on corners of picture of Angelika’s cat to open panel.
Use coin to reveal exit button.

Wait for the next Sniffmouse production.

What an excellent game! 8 stars from me.

Catqueen many many thanks!

How does the clue left behind on the table correspond to the 3 x 3 light grid?????

POP...of course, the shapes of the segments...not trying to match each clue box.

Excellent game as usual!

NotYou many many thanks!

Austen64, TY for the WT. It is very much appreciated.

Draw a picture on a piece of paper of the flys movement and "recreate" it on the table puzzle. First tow are top of picture last two are bottom.

I cant figure out the 3x3. I have the 4 shapes but I think all this cold weather has given me brain freeze. lol, any help plz

Enzed and Fudge, if that was my comment you are referring to, if you had read it correctly, I said it was too hard for ME. That's not to say I wanted it dumbed down. It meant I would come back later when there are more clues to help me. How dare you two arrogant people ask Angelika not to dumb it down when that's not what was said in the first place. Your ego's really irritated me. Too many on here think they are important. Angelika I did not say I didn't like it because it was hard. I do like these games don't presume because I thought it was hard means that I don't like it..

Hector I appreciate what you say about your first post (ie you were not asking for an easier game, merely saying that you were going to wait until some hints were posted) but there was no need to take that tone with Enzed & Fudge.
Too many people DO whine that games are too hard and should be made simple.
All E&F were asking (and I am in total agreement) is that Angelika keeps on producing stunning games like this.
I have just finished playing every Sniffmouse game from the beginning (in date order!) and have loved the evolution of the games in only one year from OK to the best two writers around.

Long live Angelika and Guntars.
This site would not be the same without them.

Rant over.

K Stevens look at the shapes left behind on the table and relate them to the 3x3 grid.
I can't remember which ones were in the clue (on iPhone in the pub at the moment) but a U shape would be top centre, a C shape middle right and a square would be in the centre.
You should be able to work it out from there.

Austen64 thank you for good comments!
hectorpector67 sorry I didn't mean to hurt you and others, too, I just wrote what the game is harder to know, because not everyone likes.

Austen you seem to have taken offence at my tone against E+F. Let's not beat about the bush here, you explained the point of their posts was for angelika to keep on producing excellent games, that's not exactly true is it? The post that was made to angelika - was to not dumb down any games. Would there have been any reason to post that if it was not for my comment? So I think your exclusion of their posts is unfair. My point being, I was merely pointing out my difficulty, and they took it upon themselves to demand the games were kept the same. That annoyed me, when it wasn't what I said in the first place. I also observed there were no condemnation of them, oh no, just the tone I had. I might not be on this site long but I have every right to comment as a long time member.

To clear things up Angelika, I think you make fantastic games and thank you for that, I just meant I found this one to be more trickier but that doesn't mean I didn't like it. Thank you for the games you make they are appreciated.

I think they made their comments after Angelika wrote this at 2/26/15, 8:24 PM

Iris Картер, Alan Booth, enzed, kevaus and all - thank you very much!
this time harder the game and not everyone will like it...

But anyway, would be better if they respond themself.

Btw. I also wrote something like: please keep them difficult Angelika. But for me it was a comment in general and certainly not as reply to your comment hectorpector67 (didn't even see that comment when I wrote it)

I very badly speak English and didn't think that my words will touch someone and they were told only in order that knew that game difficult

Do not worry Angelika. Nothing wrong with your English and nothing wrong with what you wrote.

I think (and truely hope) this is all based upon a misunderstanding/misinterpretation between some players and their comments.

Hector

looks like I am late in joining something here and you have already deleted your highly insulting first comments which makes it harder to reply. I did though get the chance to read them but was not in a position to respond.
You have asked "Would there have been any reason to post that if it was not for my comment?" The simple answer to this is yes.

I said
ok- I'm out- that was a pretty tough one, especially the books with my eyes!

Angelika said/replied
this time harder the game and not everyone will like it...

I replied
Angelika, there are too many easy games on here. Don't let anyone talk you into dumbing them down.

I fail to see how this refers in any way to your comment - it was not intended to and you are reading way too much into it.

Angelika's games are amongst the best out there- in my opinion the puzzles are on a par with Tomatea and Tesshi-e. I want them to remain at this quality and my feedback to her was intended to encourage that, and stand by my comment 100%

To Hector:
Absolutely no offence intended or taken. I did understand what you meant in your original post and appreciate the way it was supposed to be read.

To Angelika:
Please keep up the fantastic work (and your English is much better than my Russian).

To Small-Tool:
Have you ever considered a career as head of the United Nations?

Hey Angelika
It as more difficult and yes I needed help
Thanx to all above
BUT
I loved the game
It was fun and challenging
I like the way you mix your games
Easy and hard
Soem are more challenging than others
Thats what makes it interesting
Ignore the problem people
MAKE YOUR GAMES
we love them
You are one of teh best gamemakers out there
Mixing the puzzles
Differnt styles
etc
Please keep it up
Thanx for all your work

hi Joe M and thank you very much, very nice!

some bits were easy and other bits hard but thank Austin ur walk through helped at times

ty angelika for a nice game.

wow, way too much drama here...my goodness! I just wanted help on the light box...and had to read through all that crap...its a game people, get a life!

need help on numbers under the bed please

LPA- is that the buttons 1 -6 you mean?

If so the numbers in the clue are arranged in 6 columns to match the 6 buttons. Start with the button corresponding to number 1, then number 2 etc

Took me ages to work out the 6 digit clue as didn't understand what to click for 7 & 8. If you're slow like me - you need to reverse the two sets of numbers. So the green 3 and 6 in the 1st column means you click number one 3rd and 6th in your sequence. Click number 3 first.

Thanks for spotting the pink-white books and for explaining the 4 digit number - whoever amongst the mass of comments above did do that!
