@escapism: look throu window in house for hint for the base in garden
look through other window for the hint to go down the tunnel into the house. Then up the white pole to flick switch to lower the columns for blue box.
Ah, opened hatch, hint for that is in right window.
If you go back down the tunnel from the house, then on the right side near the exit ladder is a panel which has marks on the back of it. No idea what they mean. Have used blue, yellow and orange keys, for tulip shapes.
on roof you can see hint for the drawer, hint to get fishing pole is on house above door
Have now blue, green and orange key, bottle, fishing pole and map

Huh key from water disappeared?
oh bottle is oil for the wheel - got water on and found purple key.
Used blue and orange key so far. Used fishing pole to get yellow key
Under ground the is a little paneel - got a hint
Got all 5 signs from chests and put them in order on door but nothing happens

I'm trying to click on the doors the way the hints from the roof are, but nothing happens - what am I missing?
Oh, I fiddled and reversed them and the doors opened. I don't know what happened there!

nevermind finally got it! had to click like a million times in the water.
I love this game! It took me a while, but all the puzzles made sense, and there wasn't too much pixel hunting, so I actually solved it on my own. :-) 5/5

I could play it on for a lot more time :)
Good thing I remembered from an earlier game of him that it might be worth turning back in the tunnel for no apparent reason :D

I couldn't open the green doors....got bored with it and quit. I even cut and pasted the patterns so I could see them and they didn't work no matter what way I put the black and white parts...oh well..just not for me, I guess.

Walkthrough
After clicking 'play game' on this page, to get to the game, click the x in the right upper corner.
Click the button below the left flower.
On this level, keep going right :
- on the fence a color hint is needed.
- blue key in the grass.
- a hint above the doors before going up the steps.
Up the steps :
- click the glass doors, zoom in on the door inside = hint for the fence.
- left arrow : a pink box
- right arrow : look through the window = a number hint on the blue hatch (top to bottom).
Turn around, facing the fence, open it.
- a blue box out of reach, the building has to come down.
- going right, zoom in on the flowerbed = a map
- also there the orange box.
- on the other side in this area a hatch on the grass, use the number as shown on the blue hatch inside the house. Zoom out once, click the hatch.
- walk underground but before going up the stairs, first turn around and go back = before reaching the ladder you came from there's a panel down right, take it.
- turn around and climb up the other ladder : inside the house.
Inside the house :
- open the large display cabinet with the hint from above the glass doors = fishing rod.
- also the yellow box in here.
- on the other side of the room, zoom in on the wall, place the panel. It shows what item has to go with what color.
- open the blue hatch, walk on, up the ladder and click right arrow. Notice the pink key on the dry fountain out of reach. The water will start running by turning the wheel : it's stuck.
Click the map. and the ? Click the middle down square and the left japanese letters = inside the house.
Go left, climb upon the roof.
- an orange key.
- go left, the button to lower the building with the blue box.
- go left, the green box.
- viewing the green box in the distance, click over the edge of the building. click left and right arrows and notice the black/white hint. Keep in mind the balustrade is viewed as the bottom for this hint.
Climb down. Inside the house, click the small cupboard and use the black/white hint (make sure to click the left doors for the left hint, zoom out, right doors for right hint) = green key and oil.
Click the map, click the square up left, click right arrow, put the oil on the wheel .. wait .. zoom in on the fountain to take the pink key.
Go to the house (by using the map or by walking), at the glass doors turn around. Walk straight up to the blue box, use the key = item 1.
Zoom out twice till you see a turn-around arrow, don't use it, but click the water up right and start fishing, a little to the left = yellow key.
Zoom out, go right = orange box = item 2.
Up the steps, to the left = pink box = item 3.
Up the roof, to the left = green box = item 4.
Inside the house = yellow box = item 5.
If necessary, take another look at the wall : what item goes with what color. Place the items at the door inside the house = out.
Now watch .... the navigation seemed like a maze, but there the tulip is.

Writing this was fun.
One more thing: from inside the house the glass doors can be opened.
One final thing: the black/white cupboard: it doesn't mean you have to start left, but make sure the left hint goes with the left doors and the right hint with the right ones.
