morning all. loading up...

candle sizes for far right slider puzzle

and out, 4 digit number read from left to right in bed scene - start with 8 (from the clock). fairly straightforward even for me!

maybe it is a stupid question, but how does the candle stands for slider puzzle?
there are 4 candles: 1-4. 1 is the smallest and 4 the tallest, but 1234 doesn't work.

4-1-3-2 is the order of the sliders if I remember

I think the candle number order must just be as you see them left to right, with 4 being the first one in the first room. Not very scientific or satisfying though, is it.

Ditto the 4-digit safe.

What's more, the candle clue needs to be used upside down, so 4=1. That's annoying.

I could have left that rat in its cage....

Yea, this was not one of their better games.

I'm out, but still don't understand the candles/sliderpuzzle. :-(

Thanks for the spoilers about the sliders and the numbers. You have to use the clock as well, ... oh ... okay.
I used bf on the sliders. And I didn't see the rat escape.
I hope he ran off.
