yeah I just a pig fly off screen but I wasnt quick enough..
combining roman numbers (note positions!) gives code for box
squares are a mystery to me though...note that there are three colors, white, gray and black

I can't open the second box. There's a UFO flying over head with what I assume is a hint, but I don't understand it.
So I shot the UFO, now it flies past with an arrow in it's side. But nothing else changed. Hmmm...
Weird game. Red X for me. Got boxes and clues, but cannot get boxes to respond to clicks or key entry. I think I'll stick to mainstream SD, ena & eight.

Can't open the second box. Put in this pattern:

Yeah, nothing and mean nothing works. I have everything in inventory but cant do anything at all with them. Button does nothing and cant change numbers on the box or change the buttons.
Finally got it. Highlight the bow and click the bush on top of the hill and the rest should be obvious.

Oh for fox ache. The clues on the back of the papers do not work on the box. I have combined them and they indeed add up to what Solitude01 said.
I got ufo end which makes me think there might be a second
So the clue from the UFO says to rotate the clues o the left 1/4 turn so the answer is

And the second end is Not shooting the UFO
you mean "third" end :) The NORMAL end is achieved by simply "forgetting" about calling the UFO at all, i. e. not using the remote.

And TY very much N. Jones for the 1/4 turn hint. Well, I just thought it may be the typical thing with these kinds of games, and tried all 90 degree turns, until one worked :)
But yes, the hint the UFO waves in the wind didn't tell me a freaking thing...
