there are 2 colored squares in every scene.
Brute-forced 3 digit code for clue to box.
Key from box and that was it - escape! Didn't need to solve any thing else ...
for 3 digit code: small and long lines on paper are the clock hands (+TV hint)
I tried to brute force the 3-digit code, and couldn't. Don't understand the paper hint..it seems that it wants to multiply 9 x 2, which equals 18. 181 doesn't work...921 doesn't work...291 doesn't work....losing patience...
181 worked for me - have to click button, zoom out and the click to open door
Oh, thanks, Janet...I didn't zoom out...out now!
And when I tried to brute force, I didn't press the gray button each time...that's why it didn't work for me - duh!
A bit glitchy but it was fun for the short while.
? Hints above of no help for me.
The only paper I got from the cup shows the table, the tv, the bookshelf, and the door.
The colors of the dots I found (VERY pixelly) do not match the color code under the tv.
Wait! Tried combining the colors (Blue + Yellow = Green) and now have a SD
SD gives the paper described earlier.
But now I can't get the arrows clue to work on the box.
Have tried rotating the buttons based on the latch location, but it remains stubbornly closed. Grrr!
Have to exit using the red "X" method -- very unsatisfying.
This game makes no sense to me... I liked some of the earlier instalments of this series and other instalments a bit less - but this one makes no sense to me at all...

Bookshelves, look at blue glass and get paper. Get 4 button box.
Table - get remote. Use on TV
Look for 2 coloured squares in each room.
Look at paper and use with 2 coloured squares to open colour door. Get SD
Use SD on picture in bookshelves. Get paper hint, use with TV hint for 3 number door. See arrows.
Use arrows on 4 button box for key

Bookshelf room: white (floor right of table) black (left side of shelves)
Table room: blue on wall, yellow (bott right of window frame)
TV room: blue (top right corner of cabinet) red (left side of cabinet)
Paper hint from glass: table, TV, bookshelves, door.
Use colours from each room, add them together to get final colour:
table room: B+Y=G
TV room: B+R=Pu
Bookshelf room: Bk+W=Grey
Door room: W+R=Pink
Number door:
3rd number from TV=1
First 2 numbers from paper hint, multiply hour hand and minute hand: 9x2=18.
