Abandoned Plantation Escape
Abandoned Plantation Escape is another point and click escape game created by Selfdefiant for Melting-Mindz. You were travelling across the country when a deer jumped out in front of you. You tried to avoid hitting it and ended up in the ditch. After several hours of walking, luckily you found an abandoned plantation. Collect items and solve puzzles to advance, maybe there's something here that can help you escape. Good luck and have fun!

Love these games, but the ad at the bottom of the screen makes it hard to play. Would like to see it moved. Other than that awesome as usual
I'm glad no locked doors
brett, there's an x on the bottom right screen, just press it to remove these ads
use knife on chair far left for purple key.
music hint for left piano is on the other piano to the right
oh great! locked doors
piano gives you a green gem
anybody find a map yet?
game really needs a map
blooby, can you spoil the piano code, please? I don't know anything
Ugh! thanks Dazz im just so sharp
No map in this one
Piano gives first crystal
Spoiler for piano :
E A F B G C E D A
go all the way to the right on the ground floor, click on the sheet music on the piano. That's the order to play the other piano to the left and down.
Purple key in chair far left room
found a match in book room top right, in a book
go up one and right one to room of books. matches in blank book.
that's just it, I can't get the order, thanks Janet!
Use matches more than once
Photo after door with green key gives order for box in the room left.
go left one and down one from start, light candle for place to put gems
Matches in book upstairs 1st room on right
green key from the fireplace
The names on pictures are meaningless, lol. I noted all, but i am out without having used them. And there was no map...at least i did not find one.
Did somebody find a hint for the wordbox in the bedroom?
Somewhere was written NOMIS, anagram it.
thanks for the info, Zazie...SD in the green door room
The hint for a round disk somewhere in an upper room left side was outside, on the house wall.
Yep, pretty quick one - out in 645 seconds
blue gem from 4# box same room left
I'm good without a map. But then again i did grocery shopping today in 10 minutes, so i probably am really good at finding my way.
Well one image contains a code, it was somewhere on the left side in a room (pic with 4 names, alpha order) so order the numbers alphabetically for a 4 # box.
Thanks Zazie.
the picture down last right room, says nomis
golden key from lightning the jar top ahead room on the right
Love the car!
Hmm why we collected the orbs ? I even don´t know at the end how many i had.
I still need the blue key, and only have matches left. I suspect there is a sneaky candle somewhere. Or a really obvious one.
I also had the matches left, used them twice i think, on firplace and jar....but they stayed here until the end.
anyone remembers where to find a hammer or something similar? I'm only missing the red gem (probably from crack in wall)
Or additionally on a candle, can´t remember.
having difficulty in clicking the dots of the circle puzzle in the golden room
I made a drawing of the circle while looking at the hint outside on wall.
Matches used 3x - jar candle upstairs, candle in gem room downstairs and fireplace. The hammer is on the junk table behind the gold key door, I think.
@Dazz ley: if the very top is #1, count clockwise and click #3, #7, #10 and so on...
Thanks again, Zazie. Theres also the candle on the table where you put the gems. So 3 times Still don't have a blue key. I'm walking in potatocircles here.
I just made a screenshot of the circlehint.
Where is the purple gem?
finally done it, a purple gem
Bin the scene with the piano clue - use the SD on the cabinet for blue key
todd, the purple gem come from the circle puzzle in room of the golden key to the left
Sorry took so long - had to re-play
cabinet is in middle of grandfather clock
love you, Janet!!!!
Back at you Dazz ley
I replayed and just found the blue key in the clock, but Janet was faster lol.
Goshdangit, thanks. Took ages to find the SD, even with hint. My cursor needs glasses.
Everyone out?? I'm back to spreading mulch!
thanks casual, missing the red gem
not yet, zaz...where is the red gem?
Think red gem was in crack on wall next to the stinky oven. Use hammer
First time ever I going to play a completely new SD game, looking forward to it. Thx SD
In the view with white oven yes, there is a crack on wall top right.
well that's the problem, can't find the hammer
Nice one, I made it to town!! Not to hard this time, Enjoyed that,
Hammer in room left of gold door - where all the junk is. hard to see. Click near lower left of screen
Dazzy, hammer is on the junktable bottom left corner. Kinda hard to see brown thingie.
If you click on the orb collector it shows how many you have, mine was 35
OMG the hammer, i played twice now and hammer was in my inventory, i never saw where it came from. Probably from the table with the old collected stuff.
yvonne, i always forgot to click the orb collector lol.
It would have been cool, if you could see how many orbs you collected on the final screen with the time on it.
took a long time to find the thing, thanks guys, I can't wonder how did you catch it
out, didn't see how many orbs I had but loved the game, thanks SD
Loved it too, thx SD, cu all soon !
nice game
Hint for the yellow gem?
765 seconds and out. The game is small enough that a map isn't really needed. I *think* the hammer was in "Darby's collection of things." From the start point it was kinda up then the last room on the left, sorry I can't be more precise without replaying.
POP--I still had the word box to open. Thanks Zazie and Dazz for the word box hint!
I can't find the matches - I've clicked everywhere in the book room . . .
red dot circle
go most up & left - gold door

Another challenging game from SD. Took me ages to find the hammer. Nice one!

Found it in room with the 4 number clue in drawer by bed
Ooops, thanks Alpha, I didnt refresh before posting
Out 1424 seconds (Would have been quicker but game has no pause and I had something quick to do lol). 35 orbs
yw & no prob - pop's always the best :-)
Well hello Selfdefiant! Been awhile. Looking forward to playing!
I'd like to just sit back in that chair with the fire....And listen to the music all night. Well done, Selfdefiant! Nice game. No use for the orbs. Thank you! A really big thank you!
oh really, i'm in a house with tons of antiques and all i collect is orbs... and mr. darby obviously collected wives :o) nice game SD!
Good game. Thanks, SD!
Hammer location was "sneaky!"
I liked the "collecting of orbs for no reason" other than it's a questing procedure that helps to keep one's eyes and the old grey matter tuned up.
There is something comforting is the procedure and I also like the fact that in some games they are easy to find and in others one has to really search them out.
This game was a very nice, and needed, break from the flurry of other "Fisher Price" colored, simpler, episodic games of late from SD and associates that seem to be produced to appeal more to younger, less skilled escape game players.
I'm sure that the cash flow is better or it wouldn't be happening. No problem with game developers making a living, but they might want to consider remembering what got them to the dance in the first place.
If I, and others, knew the "mechanics" of escape game making, I know there are a lot of us "regulars" that could put out some really good escape games.
In most escape style games I have played over the years, I have moments of "why isn't this being used for a puzzle, a clue," etc.
The newer games developed by SD, and his newer associates, do "fill in the gaps" somewhat, but after years of SD games set within old, abandoned, run down factories, beautiful estates and villas, castles, beach resorts and especially the dark, moody and menacing Asylums style games, I know that we all really hunger for more of that genre.
Don't get me wrong, I am a looooong time fan of SD, so long in fact that I, as I know there are a lot of others too, remember the first SD escape games way back in the days before orbs, gold coins, maps, "rooms" being numbered or lettered for easier comments posting for POP, and I DO very much appreciate all that he does for us escape game addicts.
Just wishing for a little more of something that we all love so much as evidenced by the amount of participation / comments in the older style of games vs. the newer style on an individual basis.
Sorry for the rant, just feeling it today.
Thanks again SD!
looking for blue key.
placed all the gems and got a key. Still need blue key
Loved this one SD! Challenging but I stuck with it and made it through on my own for once. Would have preferred a map tho, but it wasn't too complicated. Thanks SD!
HOLY cow. IN the scene with the clock, is the organ with the music. I bought an organ from someone last year for 50$ that looks almost exactly like that except for being in better shape. INSANE. I had never seen one before which was the reason i bought it.
The blue key is in the room with the sheet music behind the panel on the clock you need the screwdriver for.
Very good comment Bumjelly. I believe that sums it up for many of us. Therehas been a lot of negativity towards SD lately as we see his work sliding into crap. We tend to take it out harshly but it is from frustration and from comments from him that basically sound like big FUs . Perhaps maybe he will listen and make some of his fantastic long play super hard games that take all of us a week to finish with 600 comments. If you are reading this SD we MISS those. I know you are being bombarded with crossing ideas and demands, so , I will apologize now for the way I have been to you. God luck with the business and glad to see you are now making what you have worked hard to achieve. Just don't forget us. We helped you get here and we really miss the beautiful games you used to make.
I would love to go back and play some of those oldie but goodie games from SD's past. If only knew where to find them. Any suggestions?
