Going to try this!
Although, 7th in a series I haven't seen before
And I fat-fingered the window and had to restart ...
green disk from coffee table
clue book and many puzzles in desk
strange blue pillar o r trash bin)
mask from cabinet -- need something long
Used photo in bottom of cabinet to place mask
Got clue card (for clown) and a key
Took mask back
Use yellow "knife" on button to take a note
I cant figure out the clown clue. I wonder if the book is involved
Thanks, Megi - it would have been ages before I tried that!
Used clue on desk clock for clock hands
Used on fireplace clock for odd tear-shaped crystal
Goes under picture -- need to look for a color clue now ...
you can take the mask back
Oh, forgot about the stained glass
Looks like I need another key -- can't pick the book lock with the letter opener
Hi, Jorge!
for clown drawer, press the four corners according to the order of letters in the book. For example, P S R E stand for each word. The first letter is from Ruby, so press bottom right first. The second letter is from Pearl, so press P next, and so on.
Hi Puzzled
I haven't seen a clue for the 4-digit drawer either
Oh -- the clown clue may be related to the book (Pearl, Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald)
clown
click in order of letters in book
2,3 6
5 1,4
RPPRES
Use pink key on books behind painting (color clue from Stained Glass window) and get lever for fireplace. Go up stairs...
Now stuck with mask, key, toothpick, and 6 digit code
saw 4 digit number through hole in the floor, but now the fireplace door is shut!
Jorge look at weight of 3 golden things and how much they cost
Yes!
P=Pearl = ea = positions 2 & 3
.. Now have key #2
zoz
search a small secret door upstairs
Hello, zoz! long-time no see ...
Used key on books to get handle
climbed into fireplace and can see top of cupboard, but can't seem to get out again to use the code!
Oh, that's where zoz was before me -- I'm never fast enough in live games ...
I kept looking for a scale and it was right in front of me. Thanks MegiPoland
Strange thing upstairs that looks like it'd like a coin if I had one ...
Looking for Megi's secret door
Thanks Megi! Good thing that couch was there so I could jump down.
6 digit code
spoiler please
It's in the top corner of that view Puzzled
Andres. Add up the weight in grams of the three gold pieces and covernt them to Yen? with the equation in the book
Is this a 2-ending game -- one of which you're stuck forever in the walls (I feel like I'm crawling through the service tunnels in Star Trek ...
2400?
not work
Oh, thanks, Jorge! Finally saw your post!
help
great game! And i'm 720000 yen richer!
So, 4-digit code gives a 3-shot film negative
Andres, did you weigh the mask AND the stick/knife AND the key? It should all add up to 900g
Andres
SPOILER
720000
ok thx
Back to the walls -- strange device is a projector
Thanks for posting, Megi! And @Puzzled, it's good to see you again!
And of course feeling very stupid at this point -- the only thing I haven't used is the blue trash bin and I can't seem to interact with it
zoz -- I really miss your song-throughs!
I hope another game developer inspires you again ...
@Puzzled, after using the slide projector you should be able to use the toothpick on another trap door (there is a hand in the slide show pointing to it). The key you'll find inside will open the blue trash bin (actually a scale)
Lol @Puzzled, there is really only one Minoto!
Oh, thanks, zoz!
I wondered what that hand was for, but not hard enough I guess
One song that goes along with "Ichima Room" is Itchycoo Park by Small Faces (link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14ViwvgtvbA)
Out with a little helpfrom my friends ;)
THX all
How I escaped without a broken leg I'll never know -- 3 times down to the couch and at the out down to a stone sidewalk!
Thanks, zoz, for the song link ...
And (dating myself), the earlier Minoto games were much more wonderfully weird. The bizarre translations and the odd story twists.
Great game!
Great game thank you everyone for the great hints ...x
I love how in escape games people just leave gems sitting around. And gold coins. This time they're just in a dish on the coffee table like they were M&Ms, lol.
Fantastic game.
Just a little thing: Ichima, please SHOW the Yen amount we enter, otherwise the player thinks that the scale does not work.
It took me a few of these hints of yours until I figured out that you may just enter the sum blindly.
@ arby, it did show the yen amount!
Not for me! It only showed the GRAM amount, what the gold pieces weighed.
But no matter what key on the keypad I pressed, there was always the Yen sign but not followed by a number.
I didn't understand the the order for the clown. Why ruby first?
@Magda Looks way easier than it is, I know...
Well, in the Ruby line you see R . . y. That means, R is first AND fourth.
Or with Sapphire, you see only 'i'. 6th letter in word. Hence S is sixth in sequence...
The clown code is simply incomprihensible to me - even with the hints. This is probably another developer whose sense of logic is so different than mine that what he - and a lot of others - think to be logical is utterly illogical to me :(
Makes it kinda pointless to go on :(
Very good game but a bit too dark, i destroyed my eyes...
I thought the clown code was clever and very clear. It would have been confusing if there weren't numbers over the gem words.
IchimaCaffee: Fantastic game! Thank you. @arby, thanks for the explanation. That was clever and tough. Fun!
another superb one from Ichima (playing the earlier ones) - great graphics, creative ideas - thx a lot! :-)
