ReplyDeleteWhere does the bottle of pee go? The feathers go above and to the left of the chest, need 1 more. Stuck puzzle under clock, 5 digit #, 10 red/pink puzzle. No clues....
ReplyDeleteI am stuck too.
ReplyDeleteI have a rock in inventory. don't know where to use it.
ReplyDeleteUse rock on vase that is on the floor
ReplyDeleteWhat bottle of pee?? Feathers are behind a cabinet, in the green vase, and in the bag next to the guy
ReplyDeleteAlso unsolved letter/number grid
ReplyDeleteI think the only unused clue is the color bars in the far left room, the very similar dots I think was used for the slider puzzle.
ReplyDeleteI moved the cabinet but there wasn't anything there. Strange.
ReplyDeleteThere was an invisible panel behind that cabinet on the wall. Terrible...
ReplyDeleteBF'd the green dot thing, not sure what the clue was
ReplyDeleteThat gave 3rd feather. Progressing again.

And out. Click on the lock in inventory, then remove key. It works on the cabinet, must be locksmith's house....

ReplyDeleteI don't think the colored bars in the left room were used for anything.
ReplyDeletePoor king lost his crown and his hands :(
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Jenny. My bad... cute game.
ReplyDeleteThe color bars in the first room are the hint for the order to hit the green buttons...
ReplyDeleteThe continuing saga of Jolly Boy and his friends James and Janice .... chapter 4 in the making ..... I hope ..
ReplyDeleteLOL .. some palace .. these are getting funnier ...
ReplyDeleteJolly Boy and his friends, James and Janice.
ReplyDeleteChapter 4.
There sits Jolly .. not a boy in this game, but a real man, a King, on his throne.
Is he ...? Or is this a dream ..?
Whatever it is, his crown is missing and that's a real fact.
Luckily the maid knows about the Kings’ two awesome friends: James and Janice. He sends them a letter, begging for help. And James and Janice arrive, also grown up – only in this game.
“Jolly King! What’s a King without a crown!” James enters the room.
“James, my dear friend” Jolly King feels very un-Kingly without a crown on his head.
Janice replies: “We are here to help you Jolly King! Are we free to roam around?”
“Be my guest, Janice, the palace is yours!”
And off they go.
“That’s a nice lampshade on the cupboard, we’ll take it.”
Janice followed a course in decorating.
Above that are some coloured lines. What are they for …?
James clicks the square shape on the wall and finds a purple smiley.
Below that he sees a sandbag, no idea yet what to do with it.
They walk to the right. “Careful!” James’ warning comes too late.
Janice stumbles over the carpet. A yellow smiley rolls away.
“LOL, a cute way of finding things ..” Janice gets up again and takes a look at the lamp on the cupboard with drawer. “To fit or not to fit …” she mumbles and tries the lampshade.
“Yes! Well done! Our first clue”. James writes it all down.
“Look at those green dots, they can be clicked” Janice is on to the next thing already.
James walkes to the window. “Tadaa! Look what I found: a green gem, there, behind the vase.”
James puts the gem in the inventory.
Together they study the letter/number grid on the wall.
“Does it have anything to do with the lines in Jollys’ room?” Janice wonders.
“You know, clicking only the squares according to the place of the cyan lines?”
“Let’s try”, James answers.
But no, that’s not right.
“I know! Those coloured lines must be for the coloured squares here! How many
cyan, green, yellow and red lines are there?” Janice is convinced this is the answer.
But no, wrong again.
They decide to walk on to the right.
Now it’s James’ turn to fall over two crates that are standing in the way! Only to find … a cyan smiley.
ReplyDeleteWhile James is trying to bend his hurt knee, Janice tries the green gem on the chest.
“Yes! It fits! One more to find”.
“Look, we need three leafs”, James points at the spots on the wall.
“And next to that is the place to use our first clue, the crowns”.
A knife falls into their inventory.
They walk to the next scene and find a rock in the bookcase.
James and Janice look at each other … “Shall we ..?” They try the rock on the vase and there is their first feather.
“Let’s try that open cupboard in the corner” James walks up to it and pushes it aside. Ouch, his knee still hurts a little.
“Wow, a hidden compartment, AND a second feather”.
This is encouraging.
“Can you reach those coloured dots up high? Careful if you stand on that stool ..” Janice climbs up to take a look. “No, not the coloured lines here either, there are six lines, but only 5 colours here.”
What to do next?
“Well, we need one more feather, and the smileys probably go here on the wall …? … Yes, then we should find a place now to use the knife” That’s a good suggestion.
“Wait”, James frowns his forehead, “there was a sandbag next to Jolly Kings’ thrown.
They hurry back and try the knife. “The third feather!” They scream out.
Placing the feathers leaves them with an empty inventory and a box for making icecubes.
“This is a tough assignment … “ James falls down on the bed for a moment, while Janice touches the green dots on the wall again. “Look, clicking number 3 makes the blue laser turn a little green”.
ReplyDelete“Okay, go on with that.” James gets up to help her think.
“It’s 3..4..1..6..2..5” and a paper with coloured dots appear.
That’s for the coloured dots in the far right room!
Janice climbs up the stool again. James reads the paper to her: “green stays on one, red goes one further etcetera ..”
YAY !! That works!
“Oh, yummy, math” Janice laughs, “no game without some math, right James?”
They study the sums.
“Not too difficult” James starts counting.
“Let’s see .. 2 plus 3 is 5, 2 times 3 ..” Janice follows up “.. is 6, 12 minus 6 is 6 ..” “ .. and 9 divided by 3 is 3 .. done!”
They walk back to the bedroom and set the answers in the coloured squares.
The last smiley is their reward.
And placing the smileys opens the safe and shows a bottle with fluid. James takes the box for icecubes out of the inventory and pours the fluid in it.
It’s not of such a good quality, only 5 holes are filled, top 2 and 4, down 2, 4 and 5.
“Wait, let’s use the yellow ones on the pink squares near the stairs” Janice suggests.
They turn those squares into purple … and ... a letter riddle.
“No problem”, James solved every small-tool riddle there is.
“A=1, E=5, D=4, C=3, B=2 ... Back to the bedroom.”
He uses the numbers on the bed-end and there they find a clue for the letter/number grid.
James reads the clue, while Janice clicks the connecting squares on the grid.
…. Only to find another clue!
“Do you have any idea?” James is stunned by this new clue.
“Did we miss something?” Together they walk through the scenes.
In the far right room, on the wall ..”The clock-puzzle!” Janice turns the circles till the numbers are like the clue shows.
“A lock …?” James takes a closer look (about item) and takes out the key.
ReplyDelete“Let’s try it on the cabinet in the bedroom.” The key fits.
They place the red gem they find on the chest and there …..
“Jolly King .. you don’t have to dismiss your maid!”
What’s a Jolly King without a crown ..
The crown was missing, that’s a fact.
And thanks to James and Janice, Jolly King can rule over his magnificent Kingdom … wil he …? … Or will he wake up… ?
funny w/t arrie !!!
ReplyDeleteThanks to Tiquer 6/24/15, 1:06 PM . The AEDCB "clue" had me stuck. Easy enough apart from that.
