Also: small cupboard with a place for an item.
Now .....
About item woodpiece with 5-shape, attach 4-shape and 3-shape and there's the 3#.
Use it in piano room and get a scroll.
About item scroll and read the hint for clicking the green buttons in hall with stairs.
Use it and get a square piece for flower-puzzle and the second half of the paperclue.
About item the first half of the paper clue, attach the other part and read clue for ... I don't know yet. Aah! One moment ! For the dials in the library of course. Set the four arrows as the clue shows and get a piece of a map and a flashlight.
About item flashlight, click 'on'. Take flashlight. Use it on the black hole in the room with huge fireplace to get a square for flower-puzzle and the clue for the shapes puzzle next to it.
(Needless to say Victor won't catch his train anymore ...)
Go to room with electric piano and set the shapes = 3/4 heart and a number : 23.
Place the four squares in the flower-puzzle and swap the pieces till they fit within the flower and get two more papers with a pattern.
(..... at least not today ...).
Go to room with a ladder (far left room) and place the papers with a pattern on the little cupboard. About item the example, and move the pieces around to get a clue for the red buttons with 4# in room with huge fireplace.
(I don't know why, but doing it the second time around is much muuuuuch harder ... sigh).
About item the clue and place the number circle on it. Click red button on the right and note on what number the arrow lands.
Go on and set colour + number at 4# in the back, top to bottom to get 3/3 coin.
Place the coins in the letter room = 6/9 and 7/9 circles.
Go to calendar in the hall and look at what day 23 is.
Use that day (monday) in the letter room to make a word and get a piece of the map and the two last circles, 8/9 and 9/9.
Place the circles in the dark red room, about item the clue and move the circles into that position to get a triangle piece.
About item a map piece, attach the other three.
Go to room with huge fireplace, zoom in on the puzzle in the back, next to the 4#. Use the map-clue on the circles and get 4/4 heart.
Place the four hearts in the piano room to get the clue for the coloured balls in room with huge fireplace.
The large line on the left stands for red (5 balls), the short line on the right for white (only 1 ball).
Move the balls to there position (by clicking and placing on black next to it) and get last triangle.
About item a triangle piece, attach the others, click it.
Place the object on the small cupboard in the upper room full with furniture all to the left and get a key.
Use key on the door in the hall and run RUN to catch the train.
Loved playing and loved working it out.
Thank you 143 KidsGames for the effort and work you put into it.
great walkthrough arrie NL - I needed it to finish - thank you
Got the key and escaped without finishing hardly any of the puzzles.
The background music is a tip of the hat to "Man With A Gun" (by Jerry Harrison of Talking Heads). Great tune.
