Used nail, hammer, hook and then burning stick on barrel to get a gem.
Solving the rotating jigsaw is a pain, it has to be exactly right (do tiny clicks with your mouse).
Shovel is used to the right of the fire, but not in the fire view.
agreed s-t puzzle is difficult to get right
Missing pink triangle and i have no idea how to get the coconut.
Btw in the boat i found a black lever.
I did the 3 gems in the gears machine (in the correct order, if wrong they go back) and nothing happened, but I could take the gems back. And now what? Is this a bug (can't use the gears machine anymore) ? Or can I use the gems somewhere else now ?
st where was the pink gem ?
Don't remember, maby from the barrel, or from the (left) dog collar.

Oops, nope that was the key. It was using the knife on the tree on the right.
I can´t put the gems in the gear machine...
and I lost my complete inventory by trying to solve gear puzzle...
I give up!!
Hm, can use the handle now on the place of the gears machine, but still doesn't open.

They go on the gear bottom left.
Handle was dragging/rotating to get the monkey down.
Monkey gets coconut (with symbol in it) for you and he also gets the the ankh symbol to open a new room inside the puzzle.
This is stupid, i turn the gears click the gem and it goes back to the start and all gears are turning in the false direction....i will quit.
Don't forget to take the monkey with you inside. You need him there as well.
Pfew, after doing a very boring, very tedious, many clicks puzzle in the second room, there's a third room where you can place the gems, to get a chest. But no key to find to open that chest :(
Ah, ok, the cobra head on the spear is the key, finally out.
Not a great game, I was just stubborn and wanted to finish.
Not bothering to finish, the puzzle do not work properly and the last one is ridiculous!
Not a good game at all.
Navigation and inventory use is annoying....will pass.

@small-tool unfortunately your barrel hint was a little incomplete...there are TWO barrels!
So where am I supposed to use that burning stick on...??
Left barrel. First place the nail (a bit to the right of the plug), then hit it with the hammer. Then put the hook in and then use the torch on that hook.
Oops, a bit to the "left" of the plug.
ARRR...so not just holding the torch to it ... LOL..I could have tried forever TY
small-tool was it only you who could get past the gears? was there a knack, I could only put first gem in.

You have to put the gem in the bottom left (start with pink, in the end they have to be in order at the top).
Then turn the gears till they make a path to the top and then click the gem.
The path was going right, then right after that to the bottom, then it follows the top path, and then it gets to the last gear on the right, so make sure that one points up.

where is the cobra-headed spear please?
That's in the very last scene (third room or so, the one you open after rotating those two circles to get all symbols in place).
The guy in the back is holding a spear in (his right, for us left) arm.
(btw yeah right, the gear puzzle was a great trap for over-thinkers :) thinking it must go somewhere in the center, but no, the outermost route is the perfect one :)
As far as I got you, the key can be taken off the spear. But what key? The key for the monkey cage? Still missing it.
The key for the monkey cage is doing the collor colour on the left dog (first look at right dog).
Ahh great. Needed my sound device for another purpose and eventually had to quit the game because there seems to be no way to turn off the sound IN-GAME. Of course I had turned it on, because this requirement came a little unexpected...
