Ok, let's have a look at another one of these....

Hmm, haven't seen one like this b4, need to think about it. some more ...

Once yo have colours correct in top boxes right-side, then puzzle appears on left-side

Logo on front changes colour: orange > yellow > half-yellow, half-orange

Think I need to come back later ... :)

Hmm not too hard:

1st choose the yellow kanji (毒). U'll see numbers + colors on the left side. If u click each color u'll see that green goes up to 4, pink to 3 and blue to 5. Bar code shows us a number: 543
So color order is: BGP

Now change yellow kanji to the orange one (薬). Go to the left side and u'll see letter sequences. Symmetrical letters are +1 and the rest +0.
Do the counting for each square. For example: 1st green square has letters: ABOTNE. Symmetrical ones are only: AOT so that's 3. Do the same for the rest.

U'll get the numbers: 3 6 8
Put that numbers below the colors.
So: blue - 3 , green - 6 and pink - 8
Take out the correspondent color to form new numbers. For example: take all blue lines out of 3 to make a 7 and so on.

The final answer is 755.

Ah. I got the logic fairly easily - up until the point where I had to REMOVE the coresponding color bits on the right side to get the final code.

Nini, thanx for that. Just surious: was there any indication that there should be "subtraction" there, or you just found it out by yourself?

Well bio, in fact I noticed that if we took the blue ones out, we'd end up with number 7. So I tried with the other 2 and it worked :)

wow Nini, Chapeau!!!
I would have never got it...
