You can bruteforce the last letter.
ReplyDeleteusing the sequence of flowers from the beach scene on the flowers in the grassy area gives you an order to look at them (Not sure what the order is for though :P)

ReplyDeleteAlready restarted. Now have 2 fish. You can make the canned crab with less than 7 crabs. The crabs disappear but after getting the next one they come back.

ReplyDeleteI have trouble with 3 colour codes on coin machine. I know I put the colours in right but nothing happens. I have: black-green-blue-yellow-yellow-purple-pink-white-orange for first. Orange-yellow-white-orange-green-green-purple-purple-black for middle one. White-pink-black-orange-black-yellow-purple-purple-orange for bottom one. Any ideas?

ReplyDeleteIt seems I'm missing a crucial thing in this game. Have no keys to enter locked places. Can't see any puzzle with JKLM, Can't see any puzzle to enter letters or any letter to collect. All I have is SD, red key, map, 2 yellow marbles, 6 crabs, netfish, chain, steel stick, stone and 2 fishes. Used 2 clues for flowers and got 2 different paths. But the colors don't match with color puzzle in 1st scene.

ReplyDeleteWalkthrough Part 1:
ReplyDeleteGo left and pick up cheese. Go right twice and place cheese at left mousehole, collect key from nice mouse. Use key on red door, see map.
Only one place to go so far; get SD there, return to house.
With SD remove map from wall, get yellow marble; now you can visit most places on the island.
Boat scene far left: get crab 1 & chain.
NW beach: get crab 2, wet sand and net. See a clue you won't need till the end of the game. Acmer, Anonymous and I wasted a lot of time on this and similar clues last night.
Need light for cave and key for the other house.
Dunes scene, at bottom: use wet sand on worm (not sure why that works, lol), get yellow marble. Note flowers clue; copy 'L' sign.
Meadow: flowers are here but don't bother with them yet; copy 'B' sign.
Forest: pick up log and steel stick.
Mountain: note color clue, it's for the monuments where your marbles go.
River: pick up stone, get crab 3, note you need 9 logs. Get crab 4 with your steel stick, can't get monkey yet. Copy 'G' sign.
NE beach: crab 5, flower clue, key to 2nd house. Copy the 'M' sign.
Need key for dungeon, and boat for lake.
SE beach: crab 6; you'll need 9 #s for sandcastle.
Go to the yellow house; get matches. Go left for slingshot; go right for cheese, honey and meat from fridge.
Use matches on log to make a torch, enter cave. Give honey to bear, take saw. The numbers above are a sequence for the sandcastle, but not the numbers to enter. Lower right is another clue to deal with later.
Return to forest, go left and give meat to lion. Take blue marble and copy 'I' sign. Go right again, and sing Monty Python's Lumberjack Song as you cut down 9 trees with your saw.
Return to mountain, put stone with slingshot, aim at eagle. He is intimidated and leaves you another marble.
Return to the 1st house, use cheese at other mousehole. Now we're going to be really mean to this mouse, who's been so nice to us so far. But to escape you gotta be ruthless sometimes. Go to meadow, feed mouse to snake, take marble. Note that clue for placement of ornament balls is in this scene.
Back to yellow house: use saw on cabinet and get dungeon key + hammer & nails.
Go to dungeon, go left for sandcastle numbers. Go to sandcastle, enter them in the sequence you found in the cave for another marble.
Go to forest, well it was once a forest, but now you've been there, and you're a human being, and you can't leave well enough alone. Behind a stump is a clue to study. I'll tell you where to find the answers: sandcastle, meadow, dungeon, monuments, dungeon, map. Don't forget that the scene with your escape boat is a beach too. Enter the numbers you get in the safe at yellow house.

I am stuck with the statues: following the hints, the marbles shoud be put like this:

But I have 3 green marbles and only 1 violet. I tried to substitute a violet with a green, but no matter how I put the marbles, I don't get the coin. I see all of you have raised the problem, but no one has posted who he/she solved it...
The last clue I found for the marbles (for the right hand pillar) was in the alligator scene you need a boat to get to. Put the monkey in the tree house.

ReplyDeleteUsing the safe: right arrow to enter #s; left arrow to advance to next digit. Enter code, get diamond.
Go to 1st house, go left, put diamond on door. By now the 1st page of your inventory wil be full, but there's a second page! Get scuba gear.
Now you can visit 3 underwater places, I'll call them west, south and east. Go to the west; shark is not scary, he only eats canned food. Note words on shipwreck; find the colors of these places on your map and enter them in the 1st house next to the diamond door. Get another marble.
Go underwater south; get last crab, shovel, find another color clue for monuments.
Go to dungeon and left, use shovel for ornament ball.
Go to river, use hammer and nails on logs to make bridge, get monkey after he crosses bridge by stunning him with your slingshot. Then use hammer to smash the glass box, get climbing gear.
Go to mountain, use climbing gear to get treasure key.
Dive to the east, open chest for marble.
Back to yellow house, use machine to left to make crabcakes for the shark. Now use SD on that machine to get another marble.
Dive west; feed shark, put chain on little boat to haul it to the surface. Now you can go to the lake.
Feed the alligator (you only need one fish). Copy 'J' sign, and now you can complete that puzzle. Note another flower clue; put monkey in treehouse for an ornament, and see last clue for marble placement.
Back in the yellow house, match the patterns of periods and commas with letters (L in desert, I in woods, B at meadow, G at river, M at NE beach, J at lake). Get last marble.
Marble clues: Dive south for L statue, mountain for center, lake for right. Place all for 3 more ornaments.
Go right in yellow house, place ornaments acc. to clue in the meadow scene. Get a coin.
Back to 1st house, use down arrow for video game. Insert coin; now it's time for the flowers.
There are 3 flower clues; at desert, NE beach, and lake. Use one at a time. Each pattern will give you arrows which show a sequence of colors to enter in the machine. Puzzles in this game do not reset when you leave, an excellent thing which saves much trouble. Enter the colors next to the pattern made by those arrows. Get outboard motor and clue for final puzzle.
Now you know the WXYZ numbers; go to dungeon, add the number you see to get JKLM #s; go to cave, subtract those #s for FGHI number; go to NE beach add to get RSTU number. Enter corresponding shapes in 1st house. The star makes it a little ambiguous, but the pentagon is the one you want to represent 5. Put motor on your boat, gas up and go!
