Bandy, after checking the scrolls in the second scene, and removing the box under the pillow on the kang......i lay down on it and closed the curtains. This one is too much after a Sat night beer-o'clockfest. Good luck and..hiccup and whoopsie doopsie, i had an accidental collision with the punchbowl. On the fancy dresser, there is a pile of books that have an arrow on them. Zoom out and click where the arrow points.

No, I haven't solved the 4 digit box. It is active now though. I think I must have missed a book somewhere as the symols I have don't match the ones from the scroll basket on the floor.

Hi all, I'm getting nowhere here. Following your hints all the time, but still have no red paint (the bottle with the red thing on it?) on my brush. Got the two stones, one with symbols on it, the other washed, the scroll placed on the table, but what to do next?
Now I have that %^&$$ scroll lol
Ah. POP! There is an outlined place on the table for the 'stone' that is actually a box! Put the color there, then the brush!
@escapism place both stones (the washed one 1st then the one with the symbols), then use the brush on the black paint, place the red paint, use brush again. (This method worked for me.. )

Put stones and scroll on table escapism, and add the flask to have red ink.

Mine were 2569 as well. Stuck now with all of ya with the three placed sticks. Waiting for a worm according to the hint in the book.

Thanks for the hints so far. I haven't a flask of red paint. Where did you find that?
Well the book shows the sticks must be spread out but??
inside 1 of the drawers.
Pop - found it in the drawer - had clicked a few and thought none of them were going to move.
Red paint was from the top left hand drawer in the fancy shelf unit.
I think we took too long to find the sticks and the poor worm has died.

The bamboo thing in your inventory that opens. Make sure it's open and then use it to light the 3 sticks you put in the pot. That gives you the worm.

I can't light something with the bamboo 'lighter'. Maybe a bug. Have you done anything else with those sticks before, smarties? Have you used the box with the black stone in it?

Sorry! I just clicked on them. Don't think I did anything else except 'open' the bamboo thing. Might replay? There were lots of hot spots I'd done nothing with, like the eggs and the pots on the shelves.

@escapism maybe if you clean your cache? The buggy game data might be still there even after refreshing the page
Just played again. I'm not going mad - it must have been a bug. Just put incense sticks in pot and light the tip with the lighter disguised as bamboo.
Hm, might be my cache... But now I't really too tired to play it a third time, sorry.

I was sure that the symbolic numbers must have had a logic in them (e. g. broken dash = 3, long dash = 2 and so on), but I can say for sure that they do NOT.
Damn that was hard. I really don't like to see things trapped in cages though, if you're reading this Flash512...

Still got a glitch, as evidenced by my scoring 900,000+.
I just don't like whoever it is that writes 'zoe is a..." as his name so I only play to annoy him with a higher score.
BTW, any new players who are curious, those broken/unbroken line symbols are trigrams used in Feng Shui (also in I Ching, although the numbers adding up to 15 aren't used for that).
