SD always gets me with direction...keep an eye on where you can go

I'm afraid you have to start over. You need the torch before you go in the dark. Then you can go back.

Kid won't take bucket?
Inside the (former dark) place you open with the key you use the symbols from the fence to get the sword.
Purpose is to visit king
The knight will let you pass when you have sword and shield
I think I "gave" bucket to well, not to kid
I was wrong about the key for the weapon shop

Place the bucket on the well, but only works when the convo pop up is there.
I think, I placed the bucket on the rope..
Well is there something we have to do first? even well won't take bucket?

Yep, after seeing the king (when you have sword and shield) you can go to sleep.
Too bad there was a bug in the dark place.
I only have a bottle with water. Where is the torch?
Oops. I missed some scenes.
Shame we can't keep the gems we get for the next game. I have over 60 left.
Kill the blob with the sword enough times to collect enough gems to buy the shield. You can keep going back to the blob scene for more swording and then gems.
When you have both the sword and shield, you can get in to see the king.

hm...as soon as i extinguish the fire and take the key, I can't open my inventory anymore?

I can't put the bucket. I don't know how many gems need to buy a shield (I have 21)
You need 10 gems for the shield. But you can't buy anything until you place the bucket.
where is the bottle??
The bottle is in the trunk in the bedroom/opening scene. The clue for the trunk is on the shelf in the next room.
No torch for me... :(((
Take the right hand torch in the room where the knight is blocking access to the king.

don't know if it is me or the game. am only able to get the bottle and fill it with water. everything is either locked or no one is answering. if i have to keep going around checking to see if someone answers i am going to throw the bottle at them!
oh well, i quit.... will look at it tomorrow.....
@brin3m use the water to douse one of the big torches outside the castle tower to get a key.
