I don't know if there is a brainiac around who on top of that can read the language. I am neither. So far, I have been able to do: nothing. If SJS is a speaking tomato, BJ a swirly thing and ZJ a wife with blond hair, what is HJ ?
ReplyDeleteehm ... a Zebra?
ReplyDeleteInteresting deduction arrie NL. Unfortunately it doesn't fit the 4 letter door zo I tried J -ebra. Didn't work. BTW, I presume you are from NL, so happy King's day.
ReplyDeleteI like the shade of green of the paper roll.....
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a clever game, if you know japanese. I think the J book shows you the substitutions for kana, such as SJS being TO MA TO. ZJ is TSU MA (wife.) And that is all I could figure out.
ReplyDeleteThe top is "koma."
ReplyDeleteThank you Emmes :) it's a great day overhere.
ReplyDeleteAnd sorry, I didn't know only 4 letters, you didn't mention that. I'm flattered you tried 'ebra'.
Thank you Andrea for the "koma" but it does not work on any door. Maybe if I have a few more drinks it works on me ?
ReplyDeleteArrie: your weather as sh..... as with your zuiderburen ?
There is a hint on the back of the playing card door.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe it ! I opened the top left door ! I now have a key !
ReplyDeleteI didn't say the answer was koma. I was responding to VK's comment, trying to work out the pattern. Japanese characters have an order; we have to figure out the mapping of J, B, Z in order to figure out what H is.
ReplyDeleteKuma, Question mark
ReplyDeleteThanks Vercingetorix, that makes sense.
ReplyDeleteGot a lighter from the picture under the wall. The flower in the picture (japanese caption) is an azalea
ReplyDeleteI have to quit this one, my language skills are not enough. Good luck to everyone.
ReplyDelete*on the wall
ReplyDeleteSo "KUMA" is the answer to the pink puzzle. I brute forced it, then noticed Vercingetorix already gave the answer.
ReplyDeleteThe answer to the flower puzzle is two Js rotated to the left, followed by one backward J. I'm either going to beat this game by brute force, or fall asleep trying.
ReplyDeletewent to a French site and found the number:
ReplyDeleteSPOILER:
671
Finally figured out the four-square letters with google translate, after determining that the one on the right is rice. Still not sure about the left, but brute forced it after knowing the other three.
SPOILER, starting at top:
TARP
Dead link - 403.
