Stuck with four-letter word. Opened the door, wrote down some clues but not getting anywhere fast.
cyndee, letter code is behind plant
got pxum from the roman numeral/letter code but it doesnt work
drop the first "X" then add one...since B=11, spells a common word
I know the place to enter the letters is behind plant, but what code? Still don't get it.
Make sure you check the exit sign towards the end
as an example XVI = VI+1, do the same for the others

it's alphabetical order, but different numbers:
A=10, B=11, C=12 and so on

TAB key works to find hotspots, like the letter T in the exit sign.

Never mind, I can't believe I didn't notice it until now.
Number clue doesn't make sense.
clocked on the door at the top of the stairs and my first quarter disappeared!

Karen, do the math.
WALKING THROUGH
Go left, check the machine, note the black/white/gray pattern.
Go to the right, move the sheet on the trolley to get a KEYCARD.
Use the keycard on the B=11 door.
Go through, go right.
Bedroom.
Combine the roman numerals with the B=11 clue, i.e. XXVI(16)=G.
Go further right.
Bathroom.
Use toiletpaper, more, more, and more .... look inside and find ONE DOLLAR.
(dirty mirror here + jammed door + broken faucet, too much to handle now).
Go back and open the panel behind the plant with the word to find a SILVER KEY.
Click the dark spot to read it needs a fuse.
Use the key on the door behind the trolley .... hmmm more scenes than I thought!
Go through and remove the curtain on the trolley, use the machine-pattern on the box to find a SCREWDRIVER.
Don't know if you have eaten already, but if you find a chicken, show some selfcontrol please, other players will follow ....
Go down the stairs.

Up again to find the place to use that sd.
Ehm .... ah, wait, the bathroom!
A DRY SPONGE ... hold it below the tap and clean the mirror. Yeah, in-your-dreams !
The faucet isn't working remember ???
Go to the ice-machine and dip the sponge in the water on the floor, back to the mirror to find a math-problem. 9495 - 555 = a NUMBER to open the briefcase.
In it some t-shirts and a COIN.
Go to the money exchange machine, throw in the dollar, get the COIN.

Check the letters on the EXIT-sign to find a third COIN
Put the coins in the machine to get a BLACK KEY.
And guess what ? It's for the exitdoor.

Expat - I had thought my first quarter disappeared too. Turns out I had it highlighted when I clicked on the vending machine and it went in there so I only needed the other two quarters to get the key.
How the %&%& I put a dolar and get ONE quarter???

Yep, hoping someone is still here. I'm so stuck on the B=11 letters. I get 16, 24, 21, 13, which is GNKD. Not working. HELP!
B=11, so keep going from there. C=12, D=13, etc.
I know...combine with the Roman numerals, it should be GNKD, but that doesn't work.
