set each flower with the same coloured petals as per paper hint

In the first scene the clue for the maple leaf puzzle is not working for me. Is there some trick to it?
bar puzzle
you can swap the bars on top & also swap the one in cart with one from top
cart has 2 positions inside to click (bottom for first bar putting in, top for evtl. 2nd bar, but didn't put 2 bars in cart, just only 1...)

paper hint for flowers came from coloured buttons box, hint is
outsite (kite)
well, I made it into the ship but I have not idea what I am doing with the bar puzzle. I can swap them around in their boxes but can't put any in the cart below and where is the hint for it?
Finally figured out bar puzzle. Really hard to get anything into the cart and very annoying to have to click so many times for nothing.
Out finally, except for that annoying bar puzzle a great game!
these games are great EXCEPT for the fact that when you click on an object it opens up into a zoom view then you click it into your inventory then you have to X that box out. skip that move and it's always a great game.
The flower puzzle throws me out.
