EightGames does not seem to understand how maps and directions work. "down" arrow should not go "up" on the map.

Can't get out of zoomed in scene on puzzle with 'Life' at top and 4 light bulbs. Do I really have to restart?
and "left" should not go "right". dang, this is simple stuff.

have 2 hammers, knife, iron rod, key, skull &
card suit hint in inventory

POP - use knife on wood in timed puzzle room

Use chainsaw on iron rod for key
ha, POP2 - use iron rod in 2nd room to the right after start (empty fireplace, spider slot left of it)
haha, POP3 - use mallet/big hammer on barred window in scene 1 right of start (symbol buttons)
ah, there are 2 iron rods
Scroll (from using key) gives hint for 3 red symbols
last but not least POP4 ☻ - use mallet/big hammer on barred window in scene 1 right of start (symbol buttons)
place skull with eyes in
2nd room to the right after start

connecting the coloured cylinders,
path will light up green when placed correctly

Also trapped. I'd be willing to play the game to get out, but that isn't an option either.

Is there no way of getting out of the 'Life' screen? I can't see what we're meant to do there.
Oh, I see. Click on cloth in inventory, spray with red bottle and get clue for Life puzzle.
btw what was the purpose of collecting & placing spiders?

It's so nice of them to make
games and all, but c'mon!, EVOLVE!
Got stuck on life puzzle too. Clicked on house button, said yes to quit the game, took me to the home page, then clicked resume and I could continue the game. Same goes when your inventory is full but now it auto moves up.
I hate the navigation!!!! You surely have to decide if real "right/left/up/down" is also the same for you. Makes me want to give you only 2* but I won't, the game was good, so, I'll make a compromise and let you have 3*.
There is no 'chainsaw' in this game, but there is a hacksaw, sitting on the windowsill in the room with a fireplace with a place for a circular shape above it.
The final puzzle was bugged for me. Pieces kept disappearing and reappearing somewhere else.
