Not getting the hint with the 2 columns of colored squares. Tried each set of colors on the box under the picture, with the white button after each set.
@smoke, white button resets buttons to red-red; use it only once in the sequence

the colour buttons don't work for me, so I'm doing something wrong.
From top to bottom? red red - red blue - blue blue etc?
Doesn't open the box for me. Bottom to top neither. What to do?

puzzle goes 1 step by 1 step, white button resets puzzle to red-red again
to get at 2nd red-red in sequence, you would need to make more than 1 step, hence click
reset button instead to get red-red again
from top to bottom
hmm, thanks Alpha, I thought about it and you mean that to get the two red in the middle of the sequence you push the white button.
Nasty trick, lol.
Oh, was seriously stuck, only after maniacal clicking everywhere discovered that the table has two hotspots on it.
