so far uncovered a shape hint, picked up a flower pot and see 29 aug on newspaper.
Aha, click floor right of grey door and break flower pot for key.
Throw the plant pot in the zoomed patch of floor in front of the RH door.
I'm guessing 29August is the hint for the doorpad, but US or UK way not working.
and stuck. key goes in door but no idea for #'s, no idea for colours on big vase or where to use shapes either.

Hi Clodagh, click 1/2 button twice to get 2 then 9 then 8 then click little lock.
Also tried clicking the padlock image and/or key.

It is like using your phone to text. click til you get the # you need.

Wow, haven't used a phone like that in years. A friend of mine does though, and she hasn't switched off the beeps either. Picture her texting, then picture my nerves!

no number works on puzzles...
Get the shapes hint from the cloth (I think I spread it out on the back of one of the desk chairs, but not sure that was necessary). Then use cloth again on chair to get number hint.

Thing from symbols panel is for chair in slider room in front of sideboard. raises chair for another # hint.
Now we're rolling, Jenny and AO! I have a grey thing in the inventory that could be a donkey's tail, or a lever to lift and office chair - or neither of the above!

Can't remember what was on phone? if it was colours it goes on book shelf after you move some books.
