But the 1 above might have been a 3.
Triangles go in S5
ReplyDeleteI got it thanks Methanwy.
ReplyDeleteNo on number grids Hotz. I've been trying to do some kind of variation on a magic square, but that would be a nightmare.
ReplyDeleteNo clue for 2 # grids?

ReplyDeleteOn green grid the placement of 1 and 3 has me stumped?
ReplyDelete1 to 17 does not operate in order
ReplyDeletemathanwy, and the '34' in S1 could be the clue for 4x4 magic square.
ReplyDeleteyes, this will be a nightmare...
I've been trying to make a path from 1 to 16 on green grid. Haven't succeeded yet.
ReplyDeleteMethanwy The 1 and 3 placement is what throws me off?
ReplyDelete1,2,3
ReplyDelete10,11,12,

It seems to me the placement of 1 3 and 15 make a magic square on the green grid impossible, so it must be something else. That's why I've been trying to make a path.
ReplyDeleteUrgent need to leave. Magic Quadrant .. maybe we should find out the amount (not 15) and another amount. Izvenite.Do meeting.
ReplyDeleteBTW the 1 isn't a 1 on the grid. It's an I. Probably irrelevant.
ReplyDeleteyes, Probably Irrelevant :P
ReplyDeleteI managed to make a path from 1 to 16 (including diagonal moves), that didn't work.
ReplyDeletefor 1-17 number grid in S7: I made a path!!!
ReplyDeleteif needed, I will make a screenshot...
I think your right about the 34 Hotz. 1 to 16 summed comes to 136, so a magic square would need to sum to 34 on each row and column. Trying again to make a magic square.
ReplyDeletePLS Hotz I am out of ideas.
ReplyDeleteMethanwy that was my thought? cause S1 has 34 but ?
ReplyDeleteblack numbers in S7, build a path 1-17
ReplyDeletespoiler: https://snag.gy/nVxmgq.jpg
Thank you Hotz.
ReplyDeletemethanwy, you are right too, the positions of 1, 3 and 15 make it impossible to build a magic square.
ReplyDeletefor diagonale with 3 and 1 (/) we need 2 numbers to get a sum of 30. this just can be 14 and 16. so in top row you have 15 and 14 or 16 in a line. the positions of 1 and 3 make it impossible to get a sum of 34 in this row...
Thank you Hotz. It seems it has to be that exact layout. At least it doesn't work if you make a path with the 10 below the 9.
ReplyDeleteYa 1 and 3 have me stumped????
ReplyDeleteI knew there was some logic behind my saying it was impossible Hotz, but I've got so confused I'd forgotten what it was ;-/
ReplyDeleteMaybe we can ignore the diagonals.
ReplyDeleteI got all rows and columns to add to 34 ignoring diagonals. Didn't work.:-(
ReplyDeleteI got nothing? AVM logic maybe?
ReplyDeleteI am completely out of ideas. I will make a break and wait until someone else will solve this grid or AVM will give a hint...
ReplyDeleteI can give the hint. Diagonal number from bottom 3214.
ReplyDeleteAnd the hint mentioned as row wise 3 4
Thanks AVM. New hint has appeared on wall in S5 and another number fixed in grid.
ReplyDeleteYup. More hint will help to found answer easily
ReplyDeletestill don't have it
ReplyDelete15 2 12 5
ReplyDelete10 14 1 9
6 11 13 4
3 7 8 16 does not work :(
Easily AVM! I'm still struggling.
ReplyDeleteVlad Torr A new hint as shown:
15* * 4
* * 1 *
* 2 * *
3 * * 16
hello all, just starting, but got stuck on clock clue....
ReplyDelete5102
does anyone have a screenshot of the green square numbers?
ReplyDeleteI've had all rows at 34 with the new clues, but that is not enough.
ReplyDeleteIf we have to get the rows AND columns to 34, the new clues require us to make up 2 15s, 1 14 and 1 16 without using 1,2,3, or 4. I can't see how this is possible.
Hope that when I get back from cooking someone will have seen the light!
ReplyDeleteMenthanwy I am right there with you. I had all rows = to 34 but nothing happened.
ReplyDeleteThryn - clock clue is used in S4
ReplyDeletehas anyone figured out the green square numbers? I've tried everything...

ReplyDeleteBogus, non-existent, or obscure clues. Which not even the very smart people here can figure out.
ReplyDeleteNot sure it's worth playing any more AVM games. If they have any logic, it eludes me.

ReplyDeleteI almost had it right erlier! Thanks for clues and help everyone and thanks AVM for the game
Out easily now the grid is given. Thanks AVM for responding to us, but there were too many options on the green grid for brute forcing the solution with what you gave at first, or even with the second lot of clues.
