Can someone tell me what has happened to Eight Games - especially the beautiful graphics ones with maps??? Can I find them anywhere else?

Unknown
as I know, BEG are the new 8G...! :-/

Unknown. They said they would be back in a week about a month ago, but have only published these ones since.

For the 6 colours start with yellow.

dont get spinny number sclue yet..

Hi, I'm in too!

Why are all those inventories moving to the "wrong" side now?

With no disappearing hotspots it's difficult to find where to use the scissors.

clocks direction arrows..

scissors on box..
bit picky..

Leroy, do you have problems with that 4# in scene right from start with the clock arrows? If so, just take clue from start scene and use the arrows for the order. No need to change the numbers.

Meth, I'll face that problem when I've got the scissors.

Thanks Leroy. I'd tried scissors on the box before. Got the right spot this time.
Got the red slider buttons by mucking about. Pretty sure the 1st one was in position 3 (bottom position = 1).

OK will do TY

Got the card symbols so far and the clock arrows 4#, and the 5x5 grid from paper pieces is clue for levers with light blue buttons in start scene.

Just wanted to tell I'm in progress. ;-)

hard pushing the discs around..

Look for 4 colour words lying about Merit. Red one was most difficult to find and I've lost it now!

This button pusher puzzle is going to be a nightmare.

Red isn't difficult after all. Top of window middle room.

On the button pusher puzzle, take a screenshot before you start or else you will have to remember where the target buttons are.

Colour sequence started with yellow pinguin. Look at the little dashes on the lines leading to each colour.

Thanks meth, got half of the scissors from that word. I think I'm as far as pinguin. Have the same colour order which doesn't work, and for that five colour thing combined with clue paper I thought we'd have to do some maths for the 3# but 42+375=517 doesn't work.

Check your maths Merit, LOL.

4 buttons in place and another reset needed :-/

yeah check ya maths LOL out by 100..

I red x meth LOl considered myself escaped..
would prob give 4th bear then escape key..

Holy moly! :-O

How embarassing... but that fuse won't help me out much further. Thanks guys!

Those are the moments you're glad you've got a nickname.

I'm still struggling around with the six colours. I'm about to cut some paper pieces and move them in real.

Haha Merit. We've all done similar things.
I may give up in a moment.

That doesn't work too!

the color scheme doesn't match with the clue

Oh, I must have got the colours by mistake then.

Eh - if you leave it would be so nice if someone could explain the maths puzzle from that 365Escape game today. Just to save my mental state (can't say health). You've seen I'm not always ahead when it comes to calculating.

Peeked at the VWT. YGBRPiPu

Eric, do you have the right order? I might cheat into the vid as well.

Thanks meth.

colours look number of lines on each long line..

so yellow had 1 cross line etc..

hears a lot of foreheads being smacked LOL

Indeed! So it wasn't necessary to move the colours, we only had to see to which colour the dashes were showing? Think simple, think smart.

Leroy, after my maths desaster the hole in my forehead is so big that you won't hear any smack from me.

For those willing to resort to cheating (like me, blush). The correct sequence on the VWT for the pushing buttons starts at 6:54.

ya get the discs solved?
I had no patience..
it seemed ya have to set discs in order on outer position to sit em over the placement

Well, I started to cheat too but took their first fail just to see a reset. I don't think anyone could solve a puzzle like this on their own. Maybe if you are on a lonely island for 10 years and got nothing else to do.

Even following the VWT step by step, that was HARD.

That inventory really sucks, especially when you have about 47 items. Can only see 3, and it is very slow and laggy.

The fuse puzzle is active once there are two gaps left in it.

After that I decided to watch the walkthrough and pretend it was me who did it. :-)

EightGames/BestEscapeGames, I can forgive killer puzzles when you give us back those classical games. Not for the cartoons!

Thank you guys for helping me and staying at my side in my deepest disgrace!

At least the fuse puzzle was doable. And I agree with you Merit. They were so sure of the first few moves on that puzzle each time they did it, I guess they had solved it before using some computer code.

I wonder where AO got to. Commenting on this style of 8G by leaving early perhaps.

FYI:
I refuse playing 8G/BEG till they make the classical ones again as you promised...!

Bummer only to be a passive member of the morning gang these days...

this one was great! liked it
give them a break guys, the best thing about BEG is puzzles won't work till you get clue, wish they would change hotspots and make them unclickable after we're done
Thanks for the game BEG

I don't mean to sound negative, but I do not like the "Inventory" mechanism in this developers games! Very poor design.
Waaaaaaaaaay tooooooooo muuuuuuuuuuch scrolling back and forth!!!
Also, the puzzles should be inert after solving in order to move things along in an orderly fashion.

Alright, that's enough! Big Red X!!!
In just 2 rooms I've already got 15 items in the inventory to scroll back and forth in order to see what I've got.
No more BestEscapeGames for me.

Another ``virtually impossible``
puzzle that is NOT worth the
effort!
Red X, closed!

another one with that miniature inventory - i just refuse to play it!

another one with that miniature inventory - i just refuse to play it!

Total agreement with others regarding the over abundance of inventory and lack of seeing enough of it. Game seems more like a "hidden object find" than an escape game.
