  15. @Tania,
See my previous post, chess clock is two hints, depending on what knob you click.

  16. @Jenny, it is the pawns on the chessboard. I think there were 6.

  17. @jenny: look at the position of pawns (the smallest figures on chess board left of TV)

  18. I always have cursor and display problems in these games. Normally I can work round them, but today it means I can't see what pressing the red button gives me.

  19. ok urban, thank you. Did not think to press the other side. Silly me!
Jenny, TV hint: first one is tower, bishop, tower, queen (?) horse. If you look at chessboard, you will see these pawns are placed on each corner. So you do the picture on the wall by pressing the appropriate location. For example, tower is bottom right so you press bottom right of picture. The other clue gives you an addition to do. Each pawn that you can lift has a number underneath. Just add them all up according to clue of TV.

  28. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY CHESS, BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER-THROUGH

Click yellow chesspiece on middle shelf below the books to see a number.
Click the button on the red clock.
Note the numbers the hand is pointing to.
Click the drawer, set the dials for a tile.

Do the Picture It above the couch for a tile.
One tile left of the large plant.
Pick up the red chesspiece there for a number.

One tile in middle hanging cupboard.
    One tile next to chessboard.
Pick up the blue piece for a number.

To open down right door, look at the piece it shows. Look at the position of these 6 pieces on the chessboard.
    = one tile, blue button.

Place blue button on the clock.
Click it, note the complete turns the two buttons make. (B R R B R) Use this on the top right door.
= one tile and a key.

Use the key to open the balcony door.
Pick up the chesspiece for a number. And one tile on the chair.

The colours of the chesspieces will open the top left door.
    = a tile and a remote.

Remote on tv. First screen shows the order of chesspieces. See the position of the pieces on the chessboard. Click the corners of the picture in that order.
    Behind it one tile.

The second screen on the tv shows to add the numbers on the four pieces. Open down left door.
    = one tile.

Place the tiles on the board below the tv.
    Do the Picture It.
    = doorkey.

    And out.
    Very nice again !
    Thanks Amajeto.
