Oops there's a bug on the 4 color-number puzzle. The yellow doesn't stop incrementing. After 256 I'm stopping.

Warning: If you click walkthrough, make a right click and open in new tab/window. It opens on the same page and when you go back, you have to start over.
The game's too confusing. It makes no sense and when you solve something you don't know what for or what happened. Big X for me.
Even after watching walkthrough I don't understand how to get 4 digit number from the xray - would somebody please explain?

I had 2 letters reversed, so went to look at hint again, came back & couldn't move 3rd letter anymore...!
It's also a protection against me trying Y=5 for some reason and then later wanting to try Y=3 for some other reason. The player is not the game-maker's enemy.
I also had the 3rd letter problem but figured it was a hint that I couldn't figure out. Too many roadblocks.
