I didn't quite understand the clue for the box. But it works if you set all the reds pointing outwards.

for hint red point look at orientation under umbrellas
in view boy red = top left and down left
in view boat = down right and top right

don't forget to move purple chair !

9:30 to 6:15 is less than (but almost) 9 hours.
