These 8b games are really better than their being exiled to this page would indicate; the graphics are beautiful, and they have no bugs that I've found. The trouble is, there are always some really obscure clues, some I get and some I don't, and I've never completed one yet! I enjoy playing them though, and wish more folks would try, so we could bring teamwork to bear on it.
ReplyDelete(The same goes for 5n games, btw, and I actually did finish one of those, though they're very complicated.)
For those who come along later: there's a hammer hiding behind a rock (haven't found where to use it). The colored letters are one clue, the numbers are another. Do the L/R on the birds (as in almost all of these games). Shovel used on pathway to far right. When you find the stick, poke a tree with it. And always watch for tiny green things hiding in the foliage (cursor changes).
Just found an axe hiding near the house (left). Definitely can expect some pixel hunting from these guys.
ReplyDeleteused hammer on a tomb. Now stuck with 4 swans and 3 turtles. It's 2 AM and I'm going to bed. Whoever follows, pls leave clues! :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with just1, that 8b's games shouldn't be relegated to Other Games of less quality. Their games are of very good quality, and oftentimes make you think "outside the box," so to speak, as compared to some of the more popular developers. I believe they're often rated less than good because they can be hard to finish...but if you stick with it, or even look at the video WT, you'll understand how clever they are.
ReplyDeleteThere are games I can't always finish, regardless of the developer, but that doesn't mean the games are of poor quality. If you can't finish a game that's not buggy, you can't always blame the game.
Christmas music already...lol!
ReplyDeleteN2, E1, S1, W2 color clue used twice so far. Once for the direction with the color, another time for the direction and the number (1=closest to center).
ReplyDeletejust1, swans go in water under the 4-digit puzzle on tree in start scene.
ReplyDeleteAn axe is used on a tree stump.
ReplyDeleteThere is more than one shovel in this game. One is used where just1 said, and the other is used on the ground between the 2 chests.
You need 4 turtles, just1.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget clue papers after you do puzzles, they can be easy to miss. Escape after you do the 9-symbol puzzle on the door.
Good game, 8b. Thanks!
Thx @Sugarcrush! Out now too.
