count the tacks for color order

When you put coins out of cauldron, it's not a clue. You have to use something else on it.

The colored numbers on the side of the hut: Match the "D" with the color of 4 (4th letter of the alphabet, etc.

green lines on right hut are the hint for the 3x4 grid (draw the "line" with pink squares)
