Jinx, it's really easy. Just make it look like the direction of the ellipses, ignore the dot.

Very spoiled animal, seems to be hungry, but disdains potatoes and egg...

Codeman, no, you can't ignore the dots, these are for the order (1 dot, 2 dots, 3 dots).

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Need a hint on how to use the red shape clue for the 3x3 shape puzzle.

for 3x3 shapes, the clue just shows the order. Much less complicated than it looks.
