2nd room ...when spinning the wheel uncover a red arrow....start checking out the wall in that direction

wagashi, take a good look at at the box used to prop open the door to room 7. One of the flaps has a clue.

I see the shapes in room 6 go for safe in room 1, but I can't figure out which to use!

Alas, I cannot see the connection between the shapes in room 6 and the hint on the wall in room 1. Can anyone help with a hint?
Aliso, look at the outer shape in the order on the clue. Enter the inside patterns (notice last is black) on the safe in that order.
