rllrlr didn't work for me, so I tried lrrlrl with success, but as per bird direction hint not logic at all for me

have difficulties with the stair colour hint & the number paper (assuming a combo is needed)
tried different variations of order & directions, but with no avail...
btw, chillis only 2 directions
doh - stairs are a PUZZLE, not a hint...!
it became a hint after solving the puzzle
3-1-2-4 is order of numbers
stairs 1-4 from top to bottom
The steps, 1 to 4 are: Yellow-Red-Cyaan-Pink.
But that doesn't work.
In 3-1-2-4 order that is C-Y-R-P.
And that doen't work either.
And yes, I know that there are 2 different reds.What am I doing wrong?

you have to solve stairs first as per 3124 paper, then the colours show up permanently in order to solve the colour puzzle inside
