Use long serrated shell to get piece of net, scene 4
Use net to catch fish in scene 3. Two other items to take once fish in net.
Pick used in scene 2 - gets you a torn Jolly Roger flag.
The orange-green sponges (?) go in scene 3.
Use green rock to smash urn in scene 3.
Use netful of fish above shipwreck in scene 2. Collect 2 items.
Combine bone with metal piece to form axe.
Axe frees metal hook, scene 2
I've got 3 sponges and a bone. Can't get the screwdriver out of the shell. Stuck!
Where's the serrated shell?
Click around in upper backgrounds, Maroonclown. Can't remember where I got my serrated shell but it was in a background scene.
Use clam shell on seaweed in S1 and axe (for second time) on seaweed in lower right of S3.
Give seaweed to tortoise (big shell on left) in S1.
Also use green stone on diving helmet, S2
Tortoise? I mean turtle of course!
Can't find the shell. Can't move forward. extensive pixel hunt in the backgrounds. I found a few more scenes but no shell. :(

Use blade to cut flag from pole

Maroonclown - it's a long orange-red claw-like shell, lying on the sand quite close to some sea creature. It took me a while to find it.
Ow wow - suddenly found a very scary fish in S1. Guarding a treasure chest.
Still haven't managed to get screwdriver from clam shell
Coins go in last scene
Hook used on pipe, last scene, for key.
Can't get the order right for the 6 sea-creatures around the ship's wheel in S2. Hint is in S1, but order not clear. Tried lots of combos.
Finally - got order correct. Gives piece of bone and small wheel.
Bone goes on end of stick (ex-flagpole). Tie it with flag. Us eit ti sabe scary fish in S1.
Flashlight and container from chest fish was guarding.
Container used in S2. Gives coin.
Flashlight and small wheel both used in last scene. Gives 2 items.
Stick/ branch used in S1. gives last 2 coins
Key from chest in last scene. Opens lock in S2.
Attach rope to metal 'claw'
Claw used in S1.
Bottle used in last scene - explosion.
Propellers used in S3 - but no result from it yet.
Aha - thought it was a jewel but it was a knob/handle. Tried it everywhere and finally found right place. Now plane is set to go.
Number on turtle is for clock - then you get directions for fish puzzle.
Final sponge from fish puzzle. Gives piece for S1 - which gives clue for shell puzzle.
Tongs from shell puzzle. Use to get screwdriver - finally!
SD on chess in S1. Gives hint for jellyfish.
Mate for crab gets him moving. Hint for symbols puzzle last scene.
Stick and tongs used in S1 to get final key to treasure chest.
Out. Good grief, that was a marathon. Difficult start then the items started rolling in. Hope that hints left will help others.

As much as I appreciate your walkthrough, Zuleika, I can't find a single thing you're talking about, so it doesn't help me.
@Beatnik Mary: I'm so sorry. I had left a comment earlier about where to find the serrated shell, but I just saw that it didn't print properly so have deleted it.
The serrated shell is in Scene 2 on the mid-left side. You will see a long spiky fish tail poking out at the left-side of the screen. Click here and it will zoom you in so that you can take the shell. That should start you off : )
Order for 6 symbols: Use them left to right, going clockwise from the topmost space.
You've got to set the time first, then the right colours will show on the compass.Thanks F.E.G. 5/5.
