The hint for the slider puzzle is the windows on the radar tower, but it's not at all intuitive. From left to right, the slider positions are 1,2,3,4. Thus, using the hint, the correct slider positions from top to bottom are 2,4,3,1,2,4.
Slider clue makes no sense.
Slider clue looks like it should be 2,4,1,3,2,4
2,,4,3,1,2,4 worked for me. You have to click on the hole to the left after making those settings.
Cute game, thanks SD/MC.
Sorry @Selfdefiant, that was a poor effort.
someone put a solar panel in a cave :) :)
I liked everything very much except the slider clue.
in my eyes there are many more people (including me) who could NOT understand this very far fetched hint. even with the hints from the comments above i can not comprehend. besides this puzzle the game containes no other challenging clues. only the good graphics (and not the awful music) saves the second star for it.
I understood SD's hint...it's how he always does it.
I don't think that it was that the clue didn't make any sense, I think that it was just poorly drawn. I don't even recognize it as a building. I thought it was a machine with buttons, not a tower with windows. Even so, a puzzle with 6 vertical sliders should have a clue with six vertical elements as well. That is just good design. I am sorry, but I have to agree with the others that this one is on you SD.
FWIW, you have kind of been mailing it in lately...
I only play SD games. A very talented guy who provides free games. If you don't get it, and I don't always what have you lost. Saying avoid is stupidity beyond stupidity
@Zoe, "how he always does it" doesn't help folks who have never played his games before or only played a few of them.
@Peachy
Agreed. There is no reason to avoid the game just because there is a clue that is hard to decipher, and to tell others to do so just because of that is inappropriate.
That said, I have found myself playing fewer of his games these days simply because they are too short and very predictable. It is like Zoe said. If you have played his games before, it is all stuff you have already done and seen. That doesn't mean they aren't enjoyable, don't get me wrong. I'm just saying that for me personally the interest in them is waning.
I find alot of his puzzles predictable as well. However, this is relaxing to me, as I personally use SD's games for relaxing...not necessarily thinking hard, as my life is full of thinking hard. Kudos, SD!
I had no problem with the slider puzzle. There were 6 sliders, and I saw 6 blue panels. 4 stars from me.
