Thanks for the game, SD! 174 seconds.

Pretty funny how this game gets posted with 12 votes already recorded.
Not funny as in "ha-ha", funny as is in "awkwardly pathetic".

112 btw

116. Fun, but fast!

192 seconds, not bad for a slowpoke like me. :)

Thanks SD/MC.

Zoe, I was here when the game was posted. Anna is correct. The game was posted and less than 30 seconds later there were 12 votes. Far too quickly for anyone to have played the game.

@zoe
There are many ways to vote more than once. A person can close their browser, clear their cache, restart the browser, and vote again. A person can use a VPN. A person can recruit friends to shill vote. Someone with access to the code, either legitimately or via hacking, can simply change the total. The reality is that there are more ways to vote-stack than can possibly be stopped. That is why the original owner was considering dropping the ratings system altogether. The devs were the ones being hurt by it. But the users wanted them, so he kept it. Back then it was as you suggest, the devs were the ones doing the vote stacking, in an effort to get more ad views for themselves. That makes no sense today though, as most of this site's devs are part of the same India-based ad ring. There is no reason for them to work against each other that way.

Contrary to "what you think", I do not believe Selfdefiant had anything to do with it, and I never said anything to indicate otherwise. So saying that I was being rude to him was not only an uncalled for overreaction, but was arrogant and mean-spirited to boot.

Anna, Jonderson: maybe someone already had played the game before it was posted here. For example Inkagames' games are posted here weeks after released on their site.

It was not your opinion I objected to. It was wrong, but heaven knows I am wrong more than my share. No, it was your behavior I objected to, not your opinion. No matter what your opinion is, whether it is right or wrong, calling someone rude and telling others to ignore that person is destructive and hurtful behavior. That said, I do appreciate and accept the apology in the spirit it was given. It is nice to see graciousness and good intentions can still be had here. Thanks! :)

@borekz
Votes on other sites don't count here, nor do ratings here count on other sites. Ratings are site specific. It would be nice if they were not, as the results would be much more accurate!

@Selfdefiant
As I have been critical of your games in the past I thought it only fair that I mention how nice it was to see some new graphic elements in your game today. Had this whole ratings thing not been such a distraction, it would have been mentioned in my post this morning.
The effort is appreciated! I know it won't garner you any more adviews/money, but for people like me who are on the fence with your ultra-short games it does make a difference!

Well I can't control votes, and I never vote on my games. :) thanks everyone!

Fortunately, I can't see the votes
