Don't like having to watch ads in the middle of game. I'll happily watch them beforehand though.

Game development isn't free, unfortunately.

The new graphics make it a little more challenging to find hot spots. Here are specifics though... Unable to use 4 buttons in gas station, not sure if I need to do something else first. I'm guessing I use the color code from in front of the gas pump, but cannot click on the buttons. Also, I do not understand how to combine the fish/grill knob clues to open the box in the upstairs bedroom. Any hints without giving it away would be helpful.

You need to turn on the television before being able to use the fish/grill knob clues.

I'm not sure why you can't click on the buttons in the gas station as I was able to do that. You should be able to as well.

Zhenne, I have TV turned on and can click the knobs but am unable to turn them. Based on the fact that the gas station buttons are not working, I'm guessing I'm experiencing some bugs so I will try reloading and see if that fixes things.

JFNeal, I'm stuck as well. Unable to turn dials or press gas station buttons. Reloaded and tried Chrome and Firefox.

Solving the 4 colored buttons in the station turns the gas pump on.

I do not like The new graphics

JFNeal the tv clue is combine with dials on grill
the color by gas station is in the store

And out! Hint: Check the mailbox

seems like fun but SUPER laggy for me. i'll try back later

Not fond of the graphics or lack of hotspots. When the color buttons didn't work, I gave up, so I'm not giving a star rating.

Sorry. Find another host. Ads in the game and I'm out of here.

Completely stuck with the knobs in the upstairs bedroom, it's obviously a sequence rather than turning them, but try as I might I cannot solve them. Arrghhh

Ok it's not me, just checked the walkthrough and the knobs are meant to turn. Was using Chrome, so tried in Explorer, Edge and Firefox - no difference. Game is unplayable for me unfortunately. Also two browsers said it did not support the Unity Plugin in order to play the game - strange as it is installed.

I couldn't play it either, way too laggy.

I've tested this game on several pc's and it works perfectly. I cannot add hot spots due to the Unity WebGL player. I will be making pc games which should work on all systems but they will need to be a download and installed.

I am trying to figure out why it wouldn't be working for some players. I do know older pc's might have issues. Sorry!

Definitely not an older pc here. Couldn't get the knobs to turn either.

I give up - I'm sick of randomly clicking, and I couldn't work out the knobs in the bedroom. I've just looked on here and they're supposed to turn, which is what I expected but couldn't get it to work. Disappointing.

we will get hard times without flashplayer.....using Brave-Browser and the knops will not turn...

Had the problem turning the buttons in the upstairs room and had to give up.

Your Unity skills are definitely improving SD, so please keep at it. I *do* miss the hotspots, but when you play enough Amajeto, Vitamin Hannah and Nicolet, etc., you learn to get by.

Having said that, I think that the really good Unity games are those where the important areas catch your eye, and you are naturally drawn to clicking on them. I *did* find this game a little cluttered, especially in the kitchen where nothing really stood out, and found myself clicking everywhere.

Just my opinion of course, and look forward to seeing more of your work. :)

Could the bug be related to the OS and differences between the Unity player? I am trying on a Mac and dials will not turn.

An error occurred running the Unity content on this page. See your browser JavaScript console for more info. The error was:
RuntimeError: index out of bounds

.. is what it's telling me

Would it be a matter of updating java or javascript? Or using the most updated version of Unity?

I understand development is not free but this game is hard to navigate and for me, like others, unplayable. I also cannot use buttons in gas station. So when the second in game ad came up and I'd accomplished very little, I'm out. It makes me wonder how many ads I will have to put up with for one game. Sorry, I pretty much never criticize your games because you are putting lots of decent quality games out there.I often defend against the criticism, but this one, no.

And all due respect but there are better ways to procure ad revenue than in game sudden interruptions that seem to appear by time rather than stage of game.

used vivaldi had no problems

It didn't function properly, the first time around, but after restarting it was smooth sailing.
OK too dark for my liking, but no hiccups an NO ADS for me.

Constructive (I hope) feedback:

1) I cannot add hot spots due to the Unity WebGL player...at which point it becomes a click-fest, and therefore loses most of its attraction as a casual game. If the platform cannot make hot spots usable, try another platform.

2. I will be making pc games which should work on all systems but they will need to be a download and installed...at which point, much of the casual game attraction is lost. From the user perspective, I'm in, have a great little break, and then I'm out. Download and install is an entirely different experience, and not the one I'm looking for.

Thanks for all the great games over the years.

I'm fairly certain it is a Java issue. If you update Java, the game should work. It worked for other players with the same issue. Unity is the platform I am going to be using to continue making games. This is only the second webGL game I have made. Things will get better and in the future after Flash goes away there will be little options for online games. Unity is far the best option. Thank you for hanging in there with me while I get things worked out. :)

Sorry, but I have to agree with David. The "3D" graphics is bad enough, but the main problem is the lack of hot spots. Without this the game quickly devolves into a click-fest from hell, and the coarse 3D only compounds the problem.

If Unity can't produce hot spots it's simply not suitable for these types of games. We've had some great fun over the years, but if this is the future then I'm out.

it works with Java!!!! thank you SD

got it working with java download after several tries good game but well you know problems unusual for SD the gas colour clue doesn't zoom up I thought that was the problem, it was changing the buttons not the right walkthrough with the game had lost the clock buttons found them eventually & zoomed off

Had trouble at first, but POP persuaded me to restart and then no issues. I admire SD for years of wonderful games, so I will give the benefit of the doubt. That said, I disliked the 3D graphics the darkness, and most importantly the lack of hotspots. I wouldn't play this style again. Sorry SD and truly, I do love your games...

I get this with this game and any game that is put up at that place. Java up to date and tried with IE and chrome

I have the most current version of java and the knobs on the grill will still not turn. Otherwise, fun game.

The knobs on the grill do not turn. They are a clue. :)

Have always enjoyed your games. Miss the sneaky escapes to different locations and tracking through different rooms. This doesn't come close to that level. (and I don't like these graphics - below your skill.) Please consider making some of those others again. Your games were better than others.
