it says it's a fork. it sure looks like a key.

"Fork" key doesn't work on anything

Extremely slow moving, my cursor actions take forever to be invoked (okay on other games), sorry SD not worth playing!!

There was an extra key. It was a bit laggy, but not enough to quit.

Fun game! Thanks, SD!

Yay. Hot spots are back. Thanks SD

I was going to say the same thing, Janet. Yay for hot spots! Unfortunately, my game doesn't work. I can navigate, but I gave up and looked at the video. I can't take the bar in the window - it just tells me I don't have enough room.

Can't do anything more. openend some doors and gathered up a fork/key but nothing else.
Sorry SD, just not working properly. :(

My "fork" looks like a key, but I've yet to find a spot for it. I have 2 cogs. Not sure what to do now. Otherwise working fine.

I'm with Andy. The walkthrough shows that the window bar can be easily removed, but mine (Firefox) says "not enough room."

That stops all progress, ending the game's playability.

it is not possible to play again
for me SD is dead

my fork is gone. is the fork important for this game? then it is unfortunately not playable.

It's working fine for me. I'm just not smart enough to find that last cog yet. Long live SD!

And I'm out!

I can't open the cabinet, I can't take the metal bar, SD's not what it used to be.

It's gone back to being unplayable. I can't remove the bar from the window because I don't have enough room.

"Not enough room" for the bar

I wonder why some people can and some cannot take the bar from the window? I had no trouble with that, or opening the cabinet. Odd.

I noticed that if I pressed "play" at the beginning instead of "new", I was able to grab the bar in the window.

The game was quite playable for me, but I did have to restart and click Play. I usually click New so that was different..

Good catch kut vonnegut! I'm sure when SD sees your comment he will fix it...he usually does ;-)

Unplayable for me as well in Chrome. Slightly better in Firefox up until the color puzzle. I couldn't tell if it was accepting my clicks on the individual colors. The walkthrough would not play for me either. :(

ok, I´m playing with Brave browser. Folk was invisible in the inventory but the empty place was named folk. Key was at place from folk and only visible when you click at both places. Key wouldn´t open Chest or Chains wouldn´t open door. I reloaded, and clicked play and it was all visible and playable.

hotspots back! well done SD and thanks

I will do my best to try and figure it out. I had no problem playing from Play or New Game. This will probably be one of the last Flash games I make. I am going to go with Unity for all upcoming games.

I removed the new game button, removed the fork and now it should work properly. Sorry everyone! Flash is just not so good any more. :(

Thanks SD!
Even when something isn't quite right, your games are still head and shoulders above the others!

Thanks for the encouragement and you are both the reason I keep on making games. If you only knew how many people played my games. Do either of you make games? I would love to see them if you do. No amount of rude comments will ever stop me from making games. My games are not perfect but they have earned me a nice living the last 15 years. I can't image what either of you do for a living. People like you who put other people down have probably been put down their whole life and try to make others feel like they have felt. It's okay, get some therapy and try to be nice to people, it only helps you.

Ther are far FAR more people who play and love your games than these few jerks, SD.

I know teachers, parents, and many others who use your games to teach lessons to kids and have fun themselves while doing it.

And your asylum-type games are the most replayed games on EG24 than any other game by the thousands!! I'm sure it's that way on all the other platforms that publish your games as well!

So true Zoe. Millions of people play my games. I get so many nice letters from players. I don't know why some people can be so mean, it only hurts them.

The color puzzle is not clickable. It also does not say "you pushed a button".

I have played and loved your games for years. Keep up the good work, I am always excited when you have a new game out.

I love your games. They are my favourite!

Already a great improvement on the last game. Hotspots and no lagging I could move around easily this time. You must have worked hard on it so thank you. Onward and upward! :)

SD - thank you for all your years of making games. Hopefully, most comments were intended as feedback to aid you in troubleshooting. Rude comments are unnecessary and unhelpful. There are only a couple of devs on this page whose games I even bother to play. I look forward to being able to play more of yours in the future.

There are some highly inappropriate comments in this thread. I appreciate the games and the game maker even when they aren't perfect right out of the gate

Nice game. Everything worked fine!

Good game as usual, SD!

Looking forward to the move to Unity.
