Start small
- Buy Low! Buy supplies at average price or less (eg Cocoa $89, Sugar $32, Coffee $515)
- Sell High! Sell chocolates at average price or higher (Basic $204, Dark $123, Coffee $341).
- Profit margins on Coffee/ Hazelnut & Fire Ant squares are the highest in the squares category if you use the above suggestions. But don't only use these as their price will drop. Rotate your square types to keep their value up.
- Do the opposite (Buy high or sell low) only when desperate, and then buy/sell only enough to get you to another port
- Don't buy another factory until the first one is up and going and your sugar/cocoa reserves are high (you have stockpiled 5000 - 10000 units of each)
- Slowly develop the additional recipies (check www.casualgamesguides.com to find all the recipies) Only the question-mark recipies can be developed in the lab, all the others have to be earned/given to you by people you meet in the game.

I keep trying different methods, but I keep taking on quests where I think I have enough money, but when I buy ingredients/machines/transportation, or a combination of the 3, I end up having less than I need to continue, so I keep restarting my game. Does anyone have tips to help me keep enough money to continue to buy ingredients etc.?
