ReplyDeleteJust incase the numbers are different this is how I cracked the code for the letter puzzle
ReplyDeleteI just input numbers and in what line they were in that I saw on the 4 pieces of paper and pushed check once the numbers were correct that number was locked into the grid I just then kept putting in numbers and pressing check until I had all numbers locked in.
If anyone wants to open the safe with letters, go in first room, look at window, black bars are letters.

In english, that would not change that much, you could read notes but you don't really need them anyway.

You might need to use pencil on the signature on the letter before second room opens though

ReplyDeleteThere is no paper in the safe with a letter code, it just gives you the green number, but you can do without it. Go look at the window in the first room if you want the code though.

ReplyDeleteAnyway with the check button that locks the right numbers when found, it's easy enough.
All I can say is that when you click on the word on the table in first room, you get the numbers 20008 and 190, and that 2008 - 190 = 1818 which is one of the number you should find.
I got in the second room, put the mouse's right ear on, found his nose on the knob of the blue drawer and put that on him, but where do I find his eyes and other ear? And WHAT else do I do? I have a red 3 from the 1st room, a blue 6 from what the safe is on, what are the green & yellow numbers to put on that safe to open it? PLEASE someone, do a walkthru! :(

It would seem that you have to get a letter, but I can't find that. I've also clicked the wall to the right of the plant multiple times, but nothing.
@Alice, you need to use the pencil on the paper, it circles the signature, then click on the wall perpendicular to the plant. However, NOW I am stuck in the 2nd room and can't get to the 3rd! I know there are stuff missing that I can't figure out, but alas, nobody has answered my posts, nor my request for a complete walkthru!

Alice, I think the paper you need is on the glass table. Once you get that you use the pencil on it (it will circle the last line on the paper). Once you've done that you can get to 2nd room.
ReplyDeleteUse that black plastic thing to get into the third room. I'm stuck too. I gave the mouse his ears and nose, got the keyhole, and that's it. I don't know what to do with the broom or cape.

3, grab pencil on bord
4, use pencil on paper
5, click bord to turn, note red 3
6, go 2x right notice small plastic square on window, get it
7, note down C J or L and O
8, turn left once, and click wall right to the plant
9, click on blue table with box on it, note shape of blue table 6
10, turn right and click on the right, use plastic on the two holes to activate thirth room
11, get broom and number 4 of the lines, also note yellow number 2
12, go out room and go right 2 times, click closet and get a black circle and cape
13, go right and note a line on the benche
14, go to right to the plant, click on it and get 3th line, also green circle
15, go to blue table and fill in the number, green is a gues, get circle and fourth line
16, go to the frame opposit of the 3th room and place circles on the mouse, black and 2x grey, get a key hole.
17, go to safe and fill in 2008-190=1818 is line A1, yust click as long as you can go till all numbers are blue, go to mouse pic and open it with key you got from there.

ReplyDeleteIf you complete it without picking up the broom, cloak, or green gem that you can change blue then the ending you get is just the mouse picture saying 2008 and some other writing.

Regarding the numbers on the grid, I couldn't read Japanese, but can understand Chinese so managed to guess partial of the clues. Hope this explain the answers provided by ra11ie.
ReplyDelete1st hint, A1 across: The year when "Silent Night" was first sung. Ans: 1818
2nd hint, D1 across: Temperature on the surface of the earth = 3C. What is the altitude (in m) where temperature = -6C? (For every 100m temperature drops 0.6C). Ans: 1500
3rd & 4th hint I have no idea what are the clues about. Too many Japanese characters too few Chinese. Below are my best guess.
3rd hint, B2 down: The height(in cm) of a character(name in Japanese) in a book/comic? by the author(name in Japanese). Ans: 55.5
4th hint, A3 down: How many is one dozen? Ans: 12

You have got to be joking. What Letter grid? I only see one line of letters and it's not even the whole alphabet, so how am I able to decode this thing and get the green number I need?
ReplyDeleteLook, none of the walkthroughs here actually helped, they make no sense. I'm not able to guess the green number, maybe it's something the creator fixed after realizing this, but it's of no use to me to guess this.
So help me out here...that letter grid, that first line. I know the answer from the first room was 1818. I copied and pasted the text into a google translator for Japanese to English and just subtracted 190 from 2008.
But I'm not getting any results and now I'm totally stuck.
I'm currently missing the 2nd piece of paper and an answer to decoding the letter grid.
Ok, nevermind. I figured how you get the green number. CJLO....*sigh* you can't guess at these numbers unless you've already seen them.

ReplyDeleteGreen number is NOT a guess; to the right of the mysterious safe is a dark area that is another puzzle, with limited letters - this is the CJLO puzzle, and it opens onto a window view with a green #4 showing.
