ReplyDeleteI restarted and everything is fine.
ReplyDeleteGood morning all.
ReplyDeleteHi all, another live one. Let's go.
ReplyDeleteEdit: Screen freeze after getiing the roll of paper from the box puzzle. :-(
My game froze on the puzzle, too, so I restarted and began with the picture above it : same problem, I couldn't zoom out. The game is totally buggy.

ReplyDeleteGot a heap of stuff now, gonna see what I need them for.
ReplyDeleteWhat ABCD?
ReplyDeletestuck on the code puzles
ReplyDeleteand out
ReplyDeletecece - it's math. you should have a system of equations
ReplyDeletehow does the shift + click puzzle work?
ReplyDeleteAnd out!! Nice game!
ReplyDeletezoz - put a piece down, then hold shift and left click to rotate it to make it fit
ReplyDeletecece - how did you get the papers on the light box?
ReplyDeleteah, thanks @Trisana, this is a fun game
ReplyDeleteOut. Checking for another ending
ReplyDeleteannaby, you need a binder clip
ReplyDeleteanybody know what numbers a,b,c, and d are? i cant figure out the math sheet
ReplyDeletesomeone piost the math code. i can do algebra but i don't want to spend all day tryign to fiugre out what numbers are what right now.
ReplyDeletelauren - okay, yeah. SPOILERS2460SPOILERS
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to get the papers in the binder clip but can't manage it
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks from me too Trisana :-)
ReplyDeleteoh jeez, never mind. So dumb of me!
ReplyDeleteout but with out ABCD code (im not good at math)

ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteif you want to do the math yourself rather than read the spoiler, here's a hint set A as "2"
ReplyDeletemath part is 2460! figured it!
ReplyDeleteI do not get the overlaid papers clue...there are 5 to click?
ReplyDeletesolved all the puzzles and still can't get out, help?
ReplyDeleteoh, sori zoz...
ReplyDeleteyes overlay is different size than door puzzle, how do they relate?
ReplyDeleteThe symbols to press are circled on the paper, if its a bad sign, 5 of the 9 works
ReplyDeleteFollow the path on the overlay. Look for 5 to press in the order on the path.
ReplyDeletethe overlay, I would like to figure it out but I don't see it...too many choices, etc. a tip anyone?
ReplyDeletefor me if it was a bad looking symbol then it was the wrong 1 to press (
ReplyDeleteI don't know why but actually I opened the door without any need to solve the math puzzle, is it supposed to be like this or is there a bug problem?
ReplyDeleteTo solve the game, just collect all the orange pieces and fill in the arrow sign, main thing is to get all three papers and the clip, go to the light box and turn on the light, clip all three papers on the light box and it will show you the clues of how to click on the puzzle box by the door.
My choices look like 14, and what is a bad sign???
ReplyDeleteLook at the bottom when you press a symbol. A green light comes on when the right one is clicked. If they go out, start the order again.
ReplyDeleteThe puzzle by the door, I did it by trial and error.
ReplyDeleteHi guys,
ReplyDeleteI understand there are some problems with the game. It's very strage, it works perfectly locally, but some problems appear in the online version.
Hope you enjoy it, I put a lot of work in it.
BTW, you need 4 papers, not 3, in order to solve the door code...
and please don't solve it by trial and error, the solution is simple and nice...
ReplyDeleteWell, after a false start, that was fun, thanks for the help all of you :-}
ReplyDeletemy posts keep getting lost but thanks for the help everyone
ReplyDeleteOh, many thanks Sharon, some more like that please.
ReplyDelete@ Debra, you should have a list of 14 symbols, only 5 of them work. Use them in the order from the light box and eliminate the ones that turn the green lights off.
ReplyDeletethe pieces that form the purple arrow are messed up. I got the arrow, but nothing happened. Is this where I am supposed to get the 4th piece of paper? Looks like really buggy game.
ReplyDeleteGot it ...trial and error...thanks for help, all!
ReplyDelete@zoz. Thanks for the 2 for A hint, that did the trick very nicely :-)
ReplyDelete@Jowi, put red piece on wood box, anywhere , then press shift and click mouse to spin piece to fit...
ReplyDeletelast piece of paper is in a box that you open with the mouse tail...I think
ReplyDeleteguys, you really don't have to try all 14 symbos. look for the right 5 on the light box. what 5 symbols are approved by both "lines and circles" papers?
ReplyDeletedebra, I did all that, filled the arrow, have all pieces rotated and everything. But nothing happens.
ReplyDeleteHow do I get the key from the horse, please>?
ReplyDeleteLiked your game @Sharon, thanks!
ReplyDelete@cyndee43,just click on the tail.
ReplyDeleteFrustrated - can't find the top rectangle for the arrow puzzle..Any hints out there???
ReplyDeleteI clicked all over it. Must be another bug. Thanks, though.
ReplyDelete@Sharon, thanks! That was definitely not a game to do in a hurry (at least for me) but I thoroughly enjoyed it!
ReplyDeletehello e.b
ReplyDeleteFor me, @Sharon, I saw 14 symbols in circles that ran along the green line...I put the three papers but the third paper didn't show up or I couldn't distinguish anything...
ReplyDelete@MaryD did you use your scissors yet?
ReplyDeleteeven if you get all piece for the arrow puzzle, nothing happens, so don't bother!
ReplyDelete@zoz - yes, I got the triangle from the window mobile with the scissors and they are gone from my inventory. I have all of the arrow filled in, but am missing whatever goes in the strip across the top?
ReplyDelete@MaryD, did you check under the rug?
ReplyDeleteI see you posted that you need 4 papers, earlier...I used all the inventory...Don't remember it that well now, Thanks @Sharon anyway, Good game!!!
ReplyDelete@jowi, I think I got another paper out of it
ReplyDeletehttp://img709.imageshack.us/img709/9956/layers.jpg
ReplyDeleteYep - got the one under the rug. And from the fishbowl and the picture - looking at it I seem to be missing one little one actually... in the middle. I have 5 pieces in all.
ReplyDeleteI am short of a pices of puzzle paper, and assume it is from the arrow box, @Jowi.
ReplyDelete@jowi, there really is a logic to the door puzzle...
ReplyDelete@jowi, did you try reversing one of the pieces?
ReplyDelete(the long one)
that worked for me!
Looked promising but screen froze. Reset at least 5 times. I'm going elsewhere.
ReplyDelete@MaryD, I'll go back to the game and see what i can find...
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteThanks, @zoz! I am enjoying the game, and really want to get out!
ReplyDeleteThere are 4 papers. One in the allen-key box. One in the arrow puzzle (if you can't get it open you didn't do it right. your second from right piece is probably up-side-down). One in the red-bricks box and one in the round code-box. If you put the 4 papers on the light box you see a trail of symbols. only 5 of these symbols DO NOT have any line crosses them (which mean they appear on both "lines and circles" paper).
ReplyDeleteI really don't think that calling it a "stupid game" is very polite. Here goes a moth of good work...
Truus, you are right, it worked when I rotated, stupid game ....
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh I had all the shapes, and all the right way round.. but when I fiddled around with them a bit they worked. I think I placed them a bit carelessly. Now I have all four papers :o)
ReplyDelete@ Sharon, take no notice of the naysayers, I think I can safely say that the regular gamers enjoyed this immensely as did I. More power to you and keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteI tried 3 times game keeps freezing.
ReplyDeleteThis was certainly NOT a stupid game @Sharon!!!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was good AND I got out without any help. Woohooo for both of us!!
And out :o)).
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sharon - another great game. Really enjoyed it! Anyone who thought it was stupid should go back to the silly number spotting and pixel hunting games - we have plenty of those around for them.
Thanks @zoz, and everyone else who helped me along the way!
Well I posted a comment - and I don't see it - sorry if this turns out to be a duplicate - but I wanted to say thanks to Sharon, for a GREAT game. Anyone who thinks it's stupid should go back to the silly number spotting and pixel hunting games, of which there have been too many recently...
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks to zoz, and everyone else who helped me blunder my way through to a right and proper end :o)
Oh whoops. I promise i did refresh before re-posting...LOL. It was worth saying twice though (IMHO!)
ReplyDeleteJowi, I had the same, but I turned the long piece until I had it the other way round and the it worked!
ReplyDeleteHint Through
ReplyDeleteLocations of essential items
ABCD clue: left drawer of table under the window
scissors: right drawer, same table
tanagram pieces:
--one on mobile in window, cut with scissors
--one in fishbowl, use fishnet to get it
--one in autumn leaves photo on wall beside the red chair
--one under the rug, back right corner, in the red chair scene
--one in the box opened with the allen wrench (horse's tail)
clip for light box: click on green pot on bottom shelf in fishbowl scene, then click on it in inventory to empty it and click on the clip that falls out to save it in inventory
allen wrench for box: click on the green horse (?) on the shelf above the green pot, then click on it in inventory, click on the tail, then click on the allen wrench to save it in inventory
fish net: on the floor under the shelves by the light box
Transparency paper clues:
--green direction arrow in the box opened with the allen wrench/horse's tail
-- circles with horizontal lines in the ABCD tube, after solving puzzle
--symbols in the arrow puzzle box, after solving puzzle
--circles with vertical lines in the slider box, after solving puzzle
Thanks for your support Mary, Tuus, Rambler and other NICE people (I needed it..) :-)
ReplyDeleteThe game was very well checked before I uploaded it, and it was very frustrating to find out the starting-problem (BTW, there are NO other bugs). I also didn't think that people will brute-force the door code...I'm so naive.
I still think that the logical solution is better....
I am lost with the wooden box puzzle with the rectangular red pieces. Can anyone help me?
ReplyDelete@Manja_70, start by moving the piece in the upper row all the way to the right. (If you zoom out and then back in the puzzle resets)
ReplyDelete@Sharon - this was a wonderful, quick but not too easy puzzle. Thank you. And I loved the light box - took me a bit to figure out why the five worked, but definitely worth it. I really hope to see more from you in the future, this one was fantastic. :)
ReplyDeletehey sharon: congratulations! good game
ReplyDeleteI assembled the 4 papers but still have 14 symbols
was obliged for a try & error. am sorry
Thanks Sharon
ReplyDeleteDefinitly a very good game. I enjoyed it a lot. It is a pitty for all the work, the playtime is yet over.
youcef - look more closely at the lines/circles paper. only 5 match between them.
ReplyDelete@youcef, look carefully and you'll see that 9 of these symbols has a line (vertical or horizontal) that crosses them. only 5 are clean.
ReplyDeleteok get it thnx again & will wait for the next one ;)
ReplyDeleteHint Through, part II
ReplyDeletetips for solving puzzles
ABCD: look at the sheet of paper with the clues
I arbitrarily set A = 2 and went from there, but you can deduce a lot from just looking at the formulas
1. B must =2A (so "4" if A=2)
2. C must be larger than B; otherwise C-B would be a negative number
3. C must equal 3A (because A + B=C and A+A=B, so A+A+A=C)
So, setting A as "2", B must be "4" and C must be "6".
4. If A+B=C+D, then D is obtained from 2+4=6+D, and therefore D=0
(Other solutions would give numbers that have more than one digit or are negative)
Thus, the code is
SPOILER 2460 SPOILER
Slider
there are various ways to solve this, but here is one:
--move top horizontal piece all the way right
--move short vertical piece all the way up
--move horizontal piece that is second from the top left one square
--move vertical piece on the far right up two squares
--move both short horizontal pieces in second row from bottom right one square each
--move long vertical piece that is covering the hole down until the hole is free and you can take the clue
Arrow tanagram
pick up the orange pieces one by one and put them on the box. Then, while holding down the Shift key, click on them to rotate until they fit. As Sharon pointed out above, the second one from the right (the one that was under the rug) can fit two ways, but only one way is right.
Door Puzzle (notice I did not call it "stupid puzzle", because it is actually quite clever!)
the best explanation is the one Sharon posted above, so I'll just paste it here: If you put the 4 papers on the light box you see a trail of symbols. only 5 of these symbols DO NOT have any line crosses them (which mean they appear on both "lines and circles" paper).
Most Important Tip Of All eat lots of Girl Scout cookies while working everything out
Great wt @zoz. Thanks. :)
ReplyDeleteas a former girl scout, I completely endorse Zoz's last line. Especially the thin mints. :)
ReplyDelete@Sharon, you're very welcome. It's a pleasure to have such a good game to write about.
ReplyDelete@Trisana, how did you know I was eating thin mints, lol!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed playing this game very much and I hope there's more to come, thanks a lot,Sharon!
ReplyDelete@Sharon this was a great game!!! It was complicated enough to have to use my brain (and some paper) but I didn't have to look for hints on the solution. The door took a bit of time because I kept trying to put all the circled symbols from the "path". Nice one!! Thanks so much! Much better than a Gazzy ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd no it was not buggy at all... besides that first random load.
@ sharon. i thought it was a good game (just like all the previous games oyuve dun. i managed to get out only using three bits of paper though, that was trial and error, but wen i knew the abcd code it was perfectly clear wat the door code was. shame on me for finishing the game early!
ReplyDeleteThanks everybody.
ReplyDelete************************************************
I'm happy to inform that THE LOADING-BUG IS FIXED now. There should be no other bugs at all.
************************************************
Sharon very good game it was fun and challenging please know we appreciate your hard work *Three Cheers for Sharon* HUGS!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow do you place the paper on the light box??? Driving me mad!!
ReplyDeleteNever mind...figured it and out ...... great game!
ReplyDelete@Sharon I was buggy because I had a arrow piece in wrong!
ReplyDeleteloved it!
know I got to think in your games now!
but what a lovely crisp elegant place you give us to focus our thoughts on!
Thanx! and 3 Cheers and more Hugs!
Liked the game thanks. Except I am not so sissy that I couldn't shove my hand into that goldfish aquarium to get that piece. What is the fish gonna do? Bite my hand off?
ReplyDeleteAck. Too buggy for me, especially the arrow puzzle. Wouldn't let me put down pieces.
ReplyDeleteSorry I did not like this game. liked it till the door puzzle. quit came back later still couldnt figure it out. up till then I liked the game.
ReplyDeletefinally got out. hit and miss.. guessing took all clues from paper path on litebox and just clicked till it worked.
ReplyDeleteclick start point...snowflake...flower..eye... ying/yang to any one is stuck.
I liked this game :) Very logical. Thanks Sharon! :D
ReplyDeleteThanks @Sharon!! I loved your game!!!
ReplyDeleteLots of good codes! I played it slow, managed to solve all puzzles and found 4 pieces of paper so it all made sense to me. I'd love to see more games from you in the future:) Not many games are as good as this one!
I solved the math part by looking at:
A+B=C+D
If you use standard math rules, it equals:
C-B=A-D
But, in the paper it is:
C-B=A+D
This is only possible if D=0
Using this and B=2A makes C=3A.
So ABC could be 1,2,3 or 2,4,6 or 3,6,9
Using the last equation, the only possible solution is 2,4,6 since C is maximum 9 (single numbers)and not the same as A.
Thank you @zoz for the hintthrough and walkthrough! I did eat lots of cookies while playing lol.
Nice Game Sharon,no bugs for me and very pleasing to play :)
ReplyDeleteWell @Sharon, you did it again... and far exceeding your previous one! You've definitively surpassed all my expectations.
ReplyDeletezoz is right, this game was not to be played in a hurry... and that made me feel not so very bad for missing it live.
You've got me thinking and solving good codes and puzzles. Thank you enormously!!
Your loyal player.
@Shron.
ReplyDeletePlease! Pretty please, any other pleases I cant think of at the moment.
Make more games! I loved this one.
Did I say please yet.
@Sharon, sorry I misspelled your name I have stupid fingers. They are connected to a not so much better brain.
ReplyDeletewoohoo great game!! So tired of hidden objects and find the numbers/alphabet!
ReplyDeleteThanks @Sharon for the month's worth of work on this game! Loved playing it. Didn't even need a WT. Thanks again. More, please!!!
ReplyDeleteNice game! Thanks, Sharon!!
ReplyDeleteOut with no help, which means I solved a math clue by myself. Whoohoo!!!!!!!
I apologize, though. I did force the door code a bit. I didn't know better. I thought we were supposed to do the symbols by trial and error once we were down to the 14 from the sheets. I didn't realize I should have checked the papers again after I had the 14.
Hello @Sharon...I think this was an awesome game. Made me work my mind. Like Edgar, I did miss it live, but everyone that knows me, knows that if I was here when it was live, I would have been way too far behind anyway. I did much better this way. I looked twice and never saw an apology from 'jowi', so I apologize for him. This was a great game and I loved it. Hope you make more!
ReplyDeleteI really wish there were more nice people in the world.
Thanks everybody for all the lovely comments...
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon I loved your game. I was so pleased to play a game that wasn't hidden object pretending to be escape or escape made by geniuses where you need complicated chemical, musical or chess knowledge. The logical puzzles were just right.
ReplyDeleteSharon, beebee said it perfectly. Thank you for a very nice game! I'm looking forward to more from you.
ReplyDeleteSharon, I've got to add my name to the list of gamers who thoroughly enjoyed your game, and truly appreciate the effort you put into it. There were a few places that I hit a minor obstacle (my arrow piece was backwards, kept trying to hang papers before binder clip, missed the 5 non-crossed codes and brute-forced from all the circled ones), but forced myself to work each one out, and then loved the game even more because of it. It is such a great feeling of accomplishment to make your way through a game entirely on your own, and it only means something if you had to challenge yourself at least a little bit to get there. I'd say your game was the perfect level of mentally stimulating, rewarding for being able to finish, and not hair-pulling difficult. You did a great job with it. Tonight I've been catching up on a bunch of games I've missed and yours is definitely my favorite of the many, and the most enjoyable to play. Thank you so much for creating it and sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteSharon: I agree with BeeBee and RC - thank you for taking the time to make this fantastic game! I really appreciated the logic and puzzles. This is what I call a true escape game, and not a boring find the numbers or letters game. I hope you continue in your efforts to make more games so we can continue to have as much fun as we did with this one! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome game. You all wont believe it but I thought the two papers with horizontal and vertical lines had something to do with abacus!
