    ReplyDelete
  2. and it doesn't work for me!

    ReplyDelete
  3. erm, i meant first word five letters, second four letters.
o for heavens sake just tell me the answer!

    ReplyDelete
  4. That's correct Zoz, check the number is correct and the spelling...I was stuck on level 6 because I didn't spell it right! Grrrrrrr (Fe says Hi)

I loved the first one and completed it quickly, this one I am really struggling with (but I have an abscessed tooth that is driving me nuts and may be affecting my thought process (poor excuse but it's all I have))

    ReplyDelete
  5. arrrgghgghhh try number forty seven did the trick. Must be POHAHF (Power Of Having A Hissy Fit)

    ReplyDelete
  6. ooooh, so sorry about your tooth! And hi back at Feline!

    ReplyDelete
  7. All I can find is a band that's named like the answer for 7 but that gives me no answer. Is there a town or a place on top of the mountain/hill/rock with a special name?

And sorry about the tooth too. And of course it affects the thought process, it eats your brain out.

    ReplyDelete
  8. @small tool, check the wikipedia entry for the band and look at their singles titles...

    ReplyDelete
  9. okay i'm so sorry guys lol...but i'm so stuck on 6a...grrr, i get that he is, but dont understand what its asking for *sigh*

    ReplyDelete
  10. Thanks zoz, forgot about the singles.

Candi, look for a famous quote where he says he isn't.

    ReplyDelete
  11. @Candi, bing "The P_______ tv show quotations"
then check jonthewatch's hint at 11:34

    ReplyDelete
  12. I haven't any clue about #8

Opps...this one has the quote needed ;)

And thanks for the sympathy (Fe doesn't care)

    Owww, sorry, she does!

    ReplyDelete
  17. oh my i have tried that phrase a dozen times already but wasnt putting the "i am" haha...thanks guys!

    ReplyDelete
  18. haha @jon tell Feline to behave!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Under the bridge?? (@lvl 9)

    rhone.....rhoneriver......and out of ideas....

    ReplyDelete
  20. Well zoz, you know what country I live in, it's in the capital and somehow the capital of Europe as well.

    ReplyDelete
  21. jon, the picture has a name as well but that brings me to Arnhem in the Netherlands but that's not working.

    ReplyDelete
  22. ....and the name of the image helps!

    @Zoz, I won't tell Fe.....I'm frightened of her!!

    ReplyDelete
  23. @small-tool, lvl 9 is the Pont D'Avignon

    ReplyDelete
  24. 9pontdavignon.htm gives an egg, but now I am wondering where to go.....under the bridge!!??

    ReplyDelete
  25. thank you @small-tool!!!
John, does Fe know she's the answer to one of the questions?

    ReplyDelete
  26. 'sur' is about or on or at but not under.

    ReplyDelete
  27. is she Zoz...which one?

Thanks Small-tool, my French is remedial!

    ReplyDelete
  28. what is the answer for 6a?

    ReplyDelete
  29. @jon, 8a
so the rhone is literally under the pont, but sur le pont is also a song... not getting it though

    ReplyDelete
  30. Sur le pont d'Avignon. Is a (childrens) song about the Saint Bénézet bridge but nothing is working.

And for 6a, Are we allowed to give straight answers?

    ReplyDelete
  31. i tried "lonydanse' and "wherewedance", nyet

    ReplyDelete
  32. @lolita I am not a.....!!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. btw @lolita, that was supposed to be a clue, it just didn't sound right

    ReplyDelete
  34. And I'm not a 'number' you just can call for an answer and that doesn't sound right either but is also supposed to be a clue.

    ReplyDelete
  35. for 6a, I don't think anyone would object to an answer given, due to the difficulty of the level.

    ReplyDelete
  36. the exact phrase is needed for 6a

    ReplyDelete
  37. okay so on 7a now..got the group, got the singles, not sure how to interpret the numbers though...

    ReplyDelete
  38. has anyone answered 9a?

    ReplyDelete
  39. chapel of saint nicholas for 9 (not 9a), but how is it written? I have tried a number of different ways but no joy.

@Zoz, are you on 9 or 9a? 9 has an egg.....

    ReplyDelete
  40. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  41. can i ask what you guys are talking about when you say it has an egg?

    ReplyDelete
  42. I'm afraid 9a is still to come. I think officially we're still on 9.
But no, tried to finish the sentence of the song in French and English, but no go.
By the way, the song was originally about people dancing 'under' the bridge.

    Candi,
First letters and start with the fifth single.

    ReplyDelete
  43. An egg is a help page, an egg appears when you are close to the answer but not quite there....

Gotta go for an hour, I shall return!! Good luck all.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Jon,
    For 9 loose the chapel.

    ReplyDelete
  45. 10 is in (just outside) Australia.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Thanks small tool, that's taken me on to 10. I think I missed 9.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Problems with 10a now.
Think we're looking for an island and compass probably tells us to look north.

    ReplyDelete
  48. thanks @small-tool! I thought that was 9a, on to a Great place

    ReplyDelete
  49. Ok.. stuck on 6 a.. I've read the comments but still don't get it. It just says 6

    ReplyDelete
  50. Well, although I'm glad to give, for the first time in history, a hint/answer in a riddle game, the credits really have to go to jonthewatch.

    ReplyDelete
  51. EnJoy,
on 12:48 I almost gave the answer. Just get rid off the 'And' and change I'm into I am.

    ReplyDelete
  52. 10a i've tried hammerford, hamilton, lizard, dunk, orpheus and a few other islands. don't have the patience to try each one with and without the word island.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Small-tool.. ok onto 7 now, but what does that answer mean? I am not a number?

    Thanks :)

    ReplyDelete
  54. enjoy it was a quote from the main character of the show

    ReplyDelete
  55. 10a.....a compass is m*g*e*i*..........

that followed by what it is....

    http://www.smallguide.com.au/mapqld_nqi.html

    ReplyDelete
  56. need to finish dinner...back in half-hour :)

    ReplyDelete
  57. jon to the rescue again! I was concentrating on fraser island because it's a world heritage site and that seems to be a common theme here...

    ReplyDelete
  58. @EnJoy...the answer to number 6 was the shooting location of an old tv show...the main character was called number six...his common quote was the answer to 6a

I do NOT see a compass...what are you guys talking about as far as a compass goes?

    ReplyDelete
  59. trying saint benezet, but no good

    ReplyDelete
  60. Oh no, I've been on that site and tried all the islands there and it didn't work.
Do I have to try them again with or without island or maybe islands?

    ReplyDelete
  61. @ allison...translate the words...non non sur le pont...then look at that picture from 9 again

    ReplyDelete
  62. Woo Hoo... I did 7 and 7a! On to 8. By the way, you people are brilliant!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  63. @ thanks Candi.. not familiar with the show.. moving on! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  64. i know that is Chang, but I don't know what to put for 11

    ReplyDelete
  65. Thanks @siegbrunn for number 6!! I was really stuck there as well. You should post more often ;)

    Moving on behind you now...

    ReplyDelete
  66. @zoz...how did you get 10a? jon mentioned something about a compass but so lost on this one! other than the obvious island factor

    ReplyDelete
  67. nevermind...omg LOL woots onto 11

    ReplyDelete
  68. Alison,
At 12:58 PM jon almost gave the answer, just combine that with my comment at 01:03 PM.

    Candi,
In the source is the word compass, but you can see it as well if you try to download the picture.

    ReplyDelete
  69. @candi thanks trying st nicolas chapel but that's not right help!!

    ReplyDelete
  70. @small tool, go to the website jon posted and look for an island that's m_g__t_c

I'm sick of seeing "wrong answer"!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Alison st is saint and no chapel.

    ReplyDelete
  72. @alison...drop the word chapel lol

@small...i got it and am on 11 but still no idea where you got compass LOL oh well

    ReplyDelete
  73. @Candi "compass" was in the source code.
the hint in the source code for 11 is "fast", but 63mph isn't the answer

    ReplyDelete
  74. ahhhh thanks zoz...i see now i've tried worldrecord too since it had one for speed but no go

    ReplyDelete
  75. Candi,
with riddle games there's often information in the source.
You can see the source if you go to the bar with help, extra favourites etc. and there the menu image (I think that's what it's called in English) and there you can open source.

    ReplyDelete
  76. @small-tool....thanks much! good to know...so are you on 11 yet? so stuck LOL

    ReplyDelete
  77. So for 11, are we looking for the fastest rollercoaster in the world?
And is it the name of the park, the city or the rollercoaster?

    ReplyDelete
  78. okay so thats a pic of the chang...the chang is steel look up the fastest steel

    woots 11a now :D

    ReplyDelete
  79. For 11, not only the faster but also the tallest roller coaster in the world.

    ReplyDelete
  80. all good questions @small-tool, and i've tried each of the answers both for the place the picture was taken and the place it's being moved to. I think fatigue is settling in here.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Yep it was the fastest (biggets). Now on 11a.

    ReplyDelete
  82. zoz...not the coaster in the pic...but merely the fastest coaster in the world...the pic just tells us that is a steel coaster we are looking for

    ReplyDelete
  83. and Candi surges ahead! (the crowd roars "raaahraaaah")
    hi @Edgar!

    ReplyDelete
  84. okay unfortunately i have to head out i have class in less than an hour :( good luck y'all...see you around!

    ReplyDelete
  85. back....for 11, that part of the coaster has a name ;)

    ReplyDelete
  86. lol zoz...it took me a bit to understand what i was doin i've never played one of these before!

    ReplyDelete
  87. hi Edgar, welcome aboard this infuriating riddle...

    ReplyDelete
  88. Ah great Edgar is back.
Now we'll go faster than a rollercoaster.
Isn't that something from Buddy Holly?

    ReplyDelete
  89. we'll miss you @Candi!

    ReplyDelete
  90. ok the source code says !six flags, but the answer implies 13 or more of something

    ReplyDelete
  91. I've tried the names of the parks and their locations for those numbers zoz. cant spell anything.

    ReplyDelete
  92. zoz,
Already tried Six Flags Great Adventure and Jackson New Jersey for 13 letters but no go.

    ReplyDelete
  93. @Edgar, i spelled something with the names of the parks and locations. it's spelled "ktmif" and "amvav" and "tgctc"

    ReplyDelete
  94. also...back for a few haha...the page is titled thrilling? maybe means something maybe doesn't!

    ReplyDelete
  95. and if you take the colors of the flags, you can spell "olgee". My brains are leaking out!

    ReplyDelete
  96. Maybe we should take ONLY the 6-flags "thrill parks"?

    ReplyDelete
  97. @zoz, I managed to spell "bgrer" from the roller coasters in six flags, Jackson. Very proud of that.

    ReplyDelete
  98. okay i really have to go this time good luck guys...see you around!

    ReplyDelete
  99. wow, according to wikipedia, six flags new england opened in 1840. I don't think I would ride a roller coaster that old.

    ReplyDelete
  100. at least we are learning things - but what is the answer!?!

    ReplyDelete
  101. Now I got "tesso" from the Seal of Texas. Still not very useful.

    ReplyDelete
  102. can't believe it, I got it (11a) - probably the only one playing!

    ReplyDelete
  103. Great Alison,
    Now please some hints.

    ReplyDelete
  104. @Alison, do tell!
I've just found out that on Oct 24 six flags parks will try to beat the record for most people dancing to Thriller around the world

    ReplyDelete
  105. Not at all @Alison, we're some more around trying to get it. Great job!
    Any hint?

    ReplyDelete
  106. @Alison, we will hunt you down and find you!

    ReplyDelete
  107. google name of roller coaster in 11, remember hint 'thrills'

    ReplyDelete
  108. Yeah zoz, and probably somewhere in New England.

    ReplyDelete
  109. 11 in what list? thrilling Road Runner? :S

    ReplyDelete
  110. Thanks @alison! Exactly what I did before, but at another site lol. This was a better order.

    ReplyDelete
  111. ok, just went and had a look for somewhere to apply those numbers....not getting anywhere quickly, but Alison has....well done!

    ReplyDelete
  112. alright, now we're moving

    ReplyDelete
  113. sorry@edgar should have said level 11

    ReplyDelete
  114. @small-tool, you need the official site for the six flag park where the specific roller-coaster is. Look for thrill rides.

    ReplyDelete
  115. 12 and 12a wasn't hard, but for 13 i might need a while.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Thanks Alison.

k***** k* thrills on google, it's the top result.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Thanks you very much Ellie.

    ReplyDelete
  118. 12 not hard?
    Why isn't 12 venice?

    ReplyDelete
  119. oh oh...I'm falling behind here.....

    ReplyDelete
  120. Sorry, I didn't realise we changed comment page.
Now, please tell me someone knows the star thing in lvl 13. I don't.

    ReplyDelete
  121. small tool, name of the bridge.

    ReplyDelete
  122. @jonthewatch, you're a master of these things. I'm not worried about you falling behind... you'll run past us any minute lol.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Thanks cricketer9999.
But just found out, but no idea about 12a?

    ReplyDelete
  124. @small-tool, another name. Look at pics in google.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Ok.. for the roller coaster thrill.. I went to the official site of the roller coaster, and saw the list of thrill rides. 1-13. I am taking the first letter of each of the numbered rides and I got "bsden".. not working :(

    ReplyDelete
  126. The picture name is a vague clue. Think of another word in English that sounds like 'size'.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Thanks Ellie,
And I really liked the hint in the source (size).

    ReplyDelete
  128. cricketer9999,
It seems you're my personal POP activator. Thanks for that.

    ReplyDelete
  129. still need 11a.. the roller coaster one.

    ReplyDelete
  130. lol....I have a page covered with letters from 11a but still no answer! Who said I was good at these things???

    ReplyDelete
  131. @EnJoy, are you sure you are in the correct park? Great Adventure. The top one should be: Superman: Ultimate Flight

    ReplyDelete
  132. i spell BSDEN from this list
    http://www.sixflags.com/greatadventure/rides/thrillrides.aspx
can someone please post the correct link?

    ReplyDelete

  134. For 11a: http://www.sixflags.com/greatAdventure/index.aspx

    ReplyDelete
  135. Pop.. I was counting wrong! 100 tries later :)

    ReplyDelete
  136. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Thanks everyone.. I was counting the "batman ride as #1

    ReplyDelete
  138. Where did Batman come from????

    He wasn't there before.

    ReplyDelete
  139. @Lolita, you have the right site. Looks like the same mistake as EnJoy did.

    ReplyDelete
  140. @ Lolita, I did the same thing.. don't include the Batman ride

    ReplyDelete
  141. batman is on top! whats wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  142. lol @Cricketer, Batman is mentioned there. Strangely enough, it wasn't that clear before since there is a picture under it. But it should have been the first one. Hmmm...

    ReplyDelete
  143. I'm sure that the first time I looked at that site, Superman was at number 1. I didn't even see Batman.

    The Caped Crusader strikes again.

    ReplyDelete
  144. 13 is probably a famous place, but I don't travel around and have never seen it. So completely no idea at all.

    ReplyDelete
  145. going back to that site, now i see batman is indeed on top, but expanded. Something we missed and the author too.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Holy mixed up thrill rides, Ellie.

    ReplyDelete
  147. stupid authors should know what they do before!

    ReplyDelete
  148. @Edgar, the author rushed this game....you can tell it is not as polished as the first Around the World riddle.

    ReplyDelete
  149. lol @cricketer....very good!

    ReplyDelete
  150. Wasn't that 'holy ravioli' cricketer9999?

    ReplyDelete
  151. Lol @cricketer! Still stairing at the stars.

    ReplyDelete
  152. 13 looks like a light. Could it be somewhere like hollywood?

    ReplyDelete
  153. i;m back! thank god for number 12 and 12a!

    ReplyDelete
  154. I guess it might be somewhere in California cricketer, for the Beck reference.

    ReplyDelete
  155. for those that didn't do the first riddle....Knaresborough will help you with 13a

    ReplyDelete
  156. Thanks @jonthewatch!! It took me a while still since it wasn't the place but the name of the star.

    ReplyDelete
  157. I guess 13a is also yours jon

    ReplyDelete
  158. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  159. I knew 13 only because when I was very young my family was visiting a family there and the boys trained the telescope on the star and told me I was looking at a real star. And I believed them!

    ReplyDelete
  160. roanoke isn't working for me to get to 13a, but when I try and alternative name that takes me straight to 14. What am I doing wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  161. lol, jumping levels sounds like a great idea right now Cricketer!

Google roanoke for an alternative name for the star.

    ReplyDelete
  162. an alternative name brought me to 13a cricketer.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Ah got it, thanks Jon.

    On to 14.

    ReplyDelete
  164. Still no idea about 13a though?

    ReplyDelete
  165. LOL @zoz! Good to know how trustful (not naîve) you were as a child :)
I'm still on 13a. All i found this far was starbeck in harrogate which isnt what I'm looking for. Going to the cinema instead I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Alternative name for the place.

Google images, 2nd page, 2nd row down.

    ReplyDelete
  167. I still dont get 4a. I try a lot of words and terms and got nothing. Can someone spoil it for me so I can move on. lol

    ReplyDelete
  168. Thanks @cricketer!! Lol, that was one of my tries for 13 :)

    ReplyDelete
  169. Mille, SPOILERWALESSPOILER

    ReplyDelete
  170. @Millie, I think this was the page that helped me:
    http://hubpages.com/hub/royal-line-of-succession

    SPOILERWALESSPOILER

    ReplyDelete
  171. ok still stuck on the rialto bridge.. horribly crowded on the bridge.. can't seem to get off.. stuck on 12a. I saw the source that said 12size but I am too stupid for it to help!

    ReplyDelete
  172. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  173. @Enjoy Robin Trower did a song by that name...
    i'm stuck on 13a too!

    ReplyDelete
  174. @enjoy....say size out loud and ask anyone what you meant...they may give you two different meanings......

    ReplyDelete
  175. @EnJoy, google "bridges venice" and look at pictures.

    ReplyDelete
  176. ok Ellie.. off I go to google

    ReplyDelete
  177. For 13a, You need to google roanoke and find an alternative name for the city. I found it when i looked at roanoke star in wikipedia. Then use two words of that name, or go to the pics, like cricketer said.

    ReplyDelete
  178. Thanks Ellie.. now off to 13!

    ReplyDelete
  179. childish I know, but what fun!!

    ReplyDelete
  180. Thanks Ellie for 13a, that was an obvious name wasn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  181. Hm... I know the tower in 14, but the name of it doesn't help, nor the city. Must do something wrong.
