    apart from that still stuck with record from room downstairs. found some sort of family tree in library which says that "uncle frank" has a daughter whom no one knows about...and there must be a safe around somewhere.

    You also can change the clock upstairs in the rightmost room, i tried 11:30 from a book but nothing happened and i am desperately looking for a kitchen or a bathroom key to fill my bucket lol.

    i tried 11:30 from a book.

    But now i just found another book in the middle shelfs with lots of hints for the clock (moon phases etc) and it says that the clock has a secret compartment when you put it right, but stuck there.

    I'm at the clock I think you hide the moon behind the gold circles I want the revere date 4-18 1775 but the times aren't working and that date is the red moon in last quarter? wish I could do more I can listen at the party doors , the cook said he lost his keys can't find those

    I even thought of 1775 is 17:00 + 60 minutes(=one hour) and 15 minutes remaining, that would be 18:15, but it doesn´t work either :(

    Well I have floor plans and spoke to guy in master bedroom and inserted 1 fuse so far.
    I think maybe 3 more fuses to get to the secret room and nee to distract guy in master bedroom to get in attic by hiding in cupboard.
    No more clues at the mo tho !!

    The first view in the libary there is a book on the table you can read and a book on the shelf you can read.

    The safe will be revealed by the guy that was in the masterbedroom a little latter in the game

    when u get to the safe u turn clockwise to seven which means going through 29 29 27 then to next date then to ten

    the padded room is a puzzle the answer is on the desk.

    @eemr, the second fuse is in the guest room closet in a box, the room which the girl was first brought to. there is a key which you need to open that door, that key should be on the kitchen floor that the cook left behind

    Sorry, @natashaluvsu22. I was playing another game. Just noticed that you've left a message. You have to fix two fuses (top and bottom right) before you can play tic-tac-toe. You also need to fill the syringe with good serum before you can open the basement door.

    Did you test the syrum on the rat if the rat falls over it was mixed wrong. if it is mixed wrong you can click on the trash to empty the syringe and try to mix again.

    I am in the dungeons. Please could someone help me with the slider puzzle? I have tried connecting the green 'on' dot to each of the green arrows and then pulling the switch, but nothing happens.     Cattis, just follow the instructions of the book : the combination is month (clockwise) - day (counter clockwise) - year (2 digits, clockwise).
    BTW, I don't understand how to prepare the potion : there are 4 items on the top of the screen : a bowl, a pipette, a spoon and a box labelled "waste". For instance, I can't use the spoon on the sugar, nor the sugar on the spoon, nor on the bowl...
    Someone said that there is a walkthrough, but I didn't see any.

    wow, this was a brilliant game, compliments and many thanks!!!
    i was stuck in the end because i never found the last key, then i discovered a section i missed in the view with the body of the uncle in the chamber... after this i found james and everything was ok :D

    Marleen, did you put both fuses in? If so, then pressing only the blocks where the O's are should work. Also be sure you read both pages of the note on the table.

    In basement use crowbar on the door at the top of the stairs.

    For the save the combo is found on a picture in the attic the date is 7-25-10

    Can't remember exactly anymore, but I think you had to connect the left dot with the up arrow on top. And I think (but really not sure anymore) you have to do that by;
    - one horizontal next to the dot and next to that a thing that bends up. And above that two vertical ones.
    - It looks like a backwards L.

    If you mean wich panels to click in the basement; just look in the book (second page) there is one tic tac toe game witht the text 'this wins' (or something like that) and that's the pattern (the O's of that one) you have to click on the wall.

    I understand you don't want the answer but just a hint. But I don't know how to give a hint. But I'll try.
    First of all, before you can push the panels on the wall, there must be two fuses in the fusebox (top right and bottom right).
    In the book (second page) it says O's win. So only look at the position of the O's in the book. Those are the ones you have to click on the wall. On the wall they don't have to be O's, it just the position.

    Anyway here's the answer;

    If the panel is like this;

    123
    456
    789

    Then click;
    1, 3, 4 and 8.

    What's the green lights puzzle?
    If it is the slider puzzle in the basement, you have to connect the green dot on the left with the green up arrow on top.

    Revised opinion: somewhat difficult, classically creepy, has a decent amount of dark humor but is a bit abrupt at the end. Wondering if there's a sequal in the works.
