ReplyDeleteI don't know what I did, but I got the gourd out the water somehow, and the scene changed to one I hadn't seen before, with a flapping fish - got it with the net, and now have a yellow gourd and a fish in the inventory. There's also another puzzle in the scene.

Got it. The 8527 is correct. For the other number, use the order that is shows on the paper for the shapes. So 2nd number in first, then the outer number, etc. Ended up being 9680. Hope that makes sense.

ReplyDeleteraasti, go to where you put three colors according to shapes in the game. By upper left and right corners of that color panel are small grey dots. Click those to see shapes.

Upper left corner needs to be looked at like the apples: cut in half, then tilt your head and look at the right side (like the grey apple). Those numbers are spoiled above: 8527

@shaz, count the colored dots on the paper. You will have 6 pink, 2 yellow and 5 blue. But, you need to change the grey dots to the colors that surround them, so the one on top row is pink and the one on middle row is yellow. The code will be:

Take the NET (called tool in the game) left of the door.
Move right.
Take the BLUE STONE from left side of the purple code box.
Move right.
Click the right edge of the barrel to open and find a HAMMER HEAD (called stick in the game).
Move right.
Take the BALL from the water tray.
View the ball with “about item” and click it to open.
Get a MEMO with 3x5 colored dots from inside.
Click below the 5 pieces of food to the right, to see a place for a 3-digit code.
Enter the correct numbers.
*Hint – memo – Hint*
Get a STICK and a RED STONE.
Open the hammer head with “about item”.
Click inside the hole in lower part of the head to get a YELLOW KEY.
Combine the hammer head with the stick to make a HAMMER.
Take the most right FOOD PIECE (from left of the water tray).
Open the food piece with “about item”.
Click to turn it and see a key hole.
Use the yellow key to open the food and get a YELLOW STONE.
Click the white poster above the pieces of food to see a hint (number 1, 2 and 3).
Turn right twice.
Use the hammer on the tall red “Daruma-tower”, to break it.
Zoom on the broken part right of the Daruma-head.
See a place for a 4-digit code, and take the WHITE KEY.
Turn right.
Use the white key to turn the lights on in the “animal-stairs”.
Zoom on the panel below the animals.
Place the three colored stones in correct positions on the left side of the panel.
Click the buttons right of the stones to change their positions.
When in correct spots, click the “ok-button”.

You will get a MEMO with a picture of 2 items from the hole above the ok-button, you will see numbers on the animals, and you will see a new hint on the 3x3 circles left of the ok-button.
Combine this new hint with the numbers on the animals to get a 4-digit code.

Turn left.
Zoom on the broken red Daruma-part and enter the 4 digits in the code box.
Click the orange button below the code pad to open, and get a SCREWDRIVER.
Turn right twice.
Place the memo with a water drop picture in the water tray.
Take the GOURD and note it’s very dry (view with “about item”).
Note the memo pictures changed. Now, it’s the gourd and a fish.
Use the screwdriver where you took the gourd.
Place the dry gourd in the water, and the water disappears.
Click inside to get outdoors.
Take the FISH, by using your net.
Take the YELLOW GOURD, which is very heavy.
On the wall ahead of you there are three patterns and 3 buttons above where you can change the colors.
Go back inside the house to find the same patterns, and their corresponding colors.
Change the colored buttons, and click the small round grey button right of them to open the trap door in the ground.
Place the yellow gourd and the fish in the hole in the ground.
Get a MEMO with an “apple-clue” from the fish.
Open it with “about item” to read.
The number 1 and 2 on the memo refers to the small grey dots in upper left and upper right corners of the color/pattern code pad on the wall.
Click the dots to zoom on them.
Use the memo together with what you see on the dots to get a 5 digit code.
Go back inside and turn right twice.
Zoom on the purple code box.
Enter your 5 digits and press the yellow button.
You will find a RED PAPER BAG.
Click to open it and find a RED KEY, together with a FORTUNE NOTE.

Count the colored dots on the memo you got from the ball.

BUT… as the clue under the dots tell, you need to change the gray dots to the colors which surround them.
The grey dot in first row is surrounded by pink dots, so it turns pink as well.
The grey dot in middle row is surrounded by yellow dots (diagonal), so it turns yellow.
Now, you have 7 pink, 3 yellow and 5 blue.

Placing the stones
The 1 hint behind the white poster tells you to place the stones like this:

The 2 hint tells you to click the buttons to order the stones in different columns.
The yellow should be in the first column, the blue in the second column and the red in the third column.

The patterns you see are from:

The sign above the pieces of food… green.

Upper left corner is to be “cut” like the apple, in the middle, then you need to tilt your head to the right (like the grey apple), and only focus on that part. You will see four digits: 8527

The inner number is an 8, then 0, 9 and 6.
The shapes on the fish-memo tells the X is inner symbol, so it equals 8.
The triangle will be 0, the circle is 9 and the square is number 6.

Last, the memo tells you to add the left digits, the right digits, and the left digits again (1+2+1).
