ReplyDeleteThe clue R+L=X is important for 2nd ending. Black books equals numbers.
Use red cupboard twice, but R+L=X has to be used first.
The R+L=X clue makes no sense to me. I got to the first ending, but I have to say the clues in the comments this time are not that helpful.
ReplyDeleteTo open the color box and the red cupboard, you need to use the clue inside the green cupboard. You don't have to mix the colors, just look at the book color/number in between each of the two colors on the clue. For example, the first clue shows green?pink, you'll look at the books to see which book is between a green and pink book, which is an orange book numbered IX. Use orange for the first color on the color box, and IX for the first number on the red cupboard.
Missing last doll... I do not understand how to open the bottom white cabinet... I pressed the blue green and red cabinets but nothing...

if you do that you will know the value of brown books

@fed up, to open the door look at the numbers of the red, green and blue books.
ReplyDeleteThere are: red 1, green 2 and 4, blue 3 and 5.
Click the cabinet doors in this order:
red, green, blue, green, blue
@gmm, R+L=X means "right+left=10"
Look at the numbers of the books, from left and right side. The 2nd from left is 8, the 2nd from right is 2. 8+2=10
The 3rd from left is 4, the 3rd from right is 6. 4+6=10. etc
You need to find out the numbers of the three black books.
The first from right is 3, so the first from left (black) should be 10-3= 7
Your first number is 7.
When you have the 3 numbers for the black books, use them on the red cabinet. You must do this before you open the cabinet the other way.

ReplyDeleteI was stuck on that color box and I didn't see the R+L clue had to restart and not place dolls to see it . It was a good game but the hints were confusing me in the forum :)
Is there any hint in the game regarding how to open the white cupboard? I mean I see how to open it - but how am i supposed to know it FROM THE GAME? Where's any hint for that?

88 Game - the reason you can't see the roman numerals is probably a missing font set in your computer. I used to have the very same problem.

@bio I often have this problem with those numeric code locks (Linux). I would only see black resp. white tiles then, but no numbers on them.

ReplyDeleteyeah, that's probably the same thing. As I've been explained, the browser lacks a certain font set that's supposed to be installed but isn't. That's the font set that's used to display those roman numerals - that's why they are blank. In my case it was some kind of Eastern Asian font set (this problem only comes with certain Japanese games - no wonder), don't askl me which or how to install them - but you find help online quite easily. I could solve it back then - and if i could, anyone can ;)
