  2. Hi Robert, I'm in too. Cartoon style today.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Oh dear, that sliding thing in first scene at the house in the back will get me.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Shovel is used in start scene, in the central part of the lawn.

There are many hotspots in both scenes you can zoom in but can't do anything yet.

  5. 2 ropes plus twigs equals ladder

    ReplyDelete
  6. oiled stick plus 2 rocks and you can light lamp

    ReplyDelete
  7. Tab is your friend! In some scenes there are collected more than one item (e.g. nuts).

Nuts are cracked with the nutcracker (from jar)

    ReplyDelete
  8. Oh, where did you get the ropes and the oiled stick? Got four twigs, the lamp, and the rocks.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I missed that arrow in the right scene to go further! #-/

    ReplyDelete
  10. Found rope. I'm busy now, got to solve the colour slider.

    ReplyDelete
  11. It's always the same. Got the colour slider - only one red and one yellow button are changed. Sigh.

    ReplyDelete
  12. bowl of nuts used in scene 1

    ReplyDelete
  13. Then I try to change them. First attempt: blue and red changed, then green and red. Doh.

    ReplyDelete
  14. use rag on number clue for 4 digit puzzle on house scene 2

    ReplyDelete
  15. Spoiler how many squares: SP4OIL1ER

I'm missing one stick for the ladder. Do you remember if they were in plain sight or did one came from a puzzle?

    ReplyDelete
  16. okay, paint and feathers plus hammer go in doorway final scene...

    ReplyDelete
  17. last stick comes from the second two number puzzle - use lenses in scene 3 and 4, kind of top area of the screen. then do the maths

    ReplyDelete
  18. Thanks for tipps with cloth and lenses - that would have taken me some hours.

    ReplyDelete
  19. OMG - rub spoon on wall in scene 3 - clue gives hooks for ladder

    ReplyDelete
  20. two bird icons for made puzzle

  21. Hello all.
I joined this very late and decided to do the brgy rotator puzzle early on. It seems to be broken ... again. One of the spots turns black then different colours jump to different spots. Are you having this problem?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Oh. When I navigated away from the puzzle tab and back again, the problem had disappeared. It's working again now.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Damn maze... Look at direction of birds facing. put them to the left or right of the nest.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Sorry to bother you again but I'm pretty sure I've done the maths but my number isn't accepted in scene 3 (on green wall).

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hi meth! No, I didn't have THAT problem - have you seen the hint in scene 3?

    ReplyDelete
  26. WOW!!!! last puzzle is the easiest eight games puzzle ever! nice game with solvable puzzles.
NOTE TO EIGHT GAMES - after the hotspot has been used/puzzles have been solved, please don't highlight it it as a possible hotspot - becomes very confusing!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Stupid me, I had only used the lenses in scene 4 - this gives only the second number, first comes from using lenses in scene 3.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yes Merit. Done that puzzle now for a stick. Just a minor glitch it seems.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Can you imagine how often I tried the first lens I had on that tower before Robert told us that we make a ladder?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Robert, before you leave: thank you for your helping!

    ReplyDelete
  31. my pleasure! see you in the next one!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Did you get the maths (for the squares) Merit? I thought it was 39, but it turned out to be 40. Purple 2# buttons.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I agree to Robert, those still active hotspots are a little bit annoying - especially when you have to use every item on every hotspot. By this I found out that paint is used in scene 4 on the corner. Put it on the floor and put the feathers into it.

    ReplyDelete
  34. And break the X with the hammer (was fortunate to have only hammer and blue ball left).

    ReplyDelete
  35. Wasn't that 41, meth? I counted 39 and bruteforced upwards. ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  36. Out after getting the second bird button from the hammer thing, doing that fiddling maze, getting the maze plate for the round one and doing this (which was in fact easy-peasy.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Will look at the walkthrough to check that.

    ReplyDelete
  38. 41 was right.

Haha, just seen: The video walkthrough is 20:10, and it takes around NINE minutes only for those four sliding screws I mentioned in the beginning! B-o

    ReplyDelete
  39. I placed my purple lens in scene 3, couldn't see anything, backed out, and now my lens has vanished.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Ah, my mistake Merit. I also BFd up from 39, must have clicked faster than I realised.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Strange that we both counted 39... but I won't take the time to count them again. Maybe I had forgotten to count the "whole square" and the little one below the grid.

    ReplyDelete
  42. My game is broken after purple lens disappeared. I checked the VWT. So for people coming after, once you place the purple lens, place the yellow one on top of it.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Oh, that's a pity. Can't you exit the game and resume?

    ReplyDelete
  44. No, resume didn't work Merit. NVM, see you again soon.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Like Methanwy my lens disappeared. Played too long to do a restart. Yet another buggy game from Eight Games. Sigh.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Gave up after five seconds - clicked upon a stone in the foreground of the first scene and suddenly found myself smashing it with a hammer which had appeared from nowhere. Blimey, if the first move's bugged, then there's probably little point in playing the rest.
