d/load for me neither in FF nor in Chrome, so played in Android emulator Nox on my PC (with a big lagging after some time, had to restart the app resp Nox several times - always with Haruo games like that...)

clock code was too clever for me.
ReplyDeleteI find the puzzles don't open right away so I figured I had the wrong codes. I've opened a few (letters over the bed, the spider, the coffee pots. Can't open the left drawers on the credenza (need a clock clue and four symbol clue which has something to do with the painting above). Tried to figure out your clue for H20 which I assume is for the 3 letter box.

DeleteStrangely long time to wait for things to open, but otherwise very nice and logical, only one time I was so stuck that help was needed. Learned from the WT that there is one more scene -- the kitchen, i.e. the other side of the counter. I had missed the right area where to click.
ReplyDeleteClock times in between hands is not clear to me. 11:11 doesn't work. I tried to figure out what time would fall between 10:00 and 12:50 but that didn't work either.
ReplyDeleteThe latter is the right way, but you have the time for the second clock incorrect, look again, it is not 12:50, it is 11:50.

Ha, dacapo, you have quite a complicated solution. I just calculated -- it's 110 minutes between 10:00 and 11:50, so the halfway is 10:55.

DeleteYeah, to be honest, I understand your way of thinking very well, I myself don't calculate like just numbers, I look the image at the same time. Actually I didn't have the number 110 in my head at all, just looked that 55 minutes from the both sides, it's like a 2 seconds business, not quite sure what the brain is doing during that.
DeleteBut it seemed to me that the clear calculating is the best way to explain the puzzle to other players.
